Booking fee 0,00
Carrier-imposed international surcharge 20,00
Airport Passenger Service Charge 15,40
Security charge 12,81
Airport Passenger Service Charge 12,73
Air Transport Tax 7,50
Airport security charge 4,22
Netherlands noise isolation charge 2,00
Total price for 1 passenger: 97,66 EUR *
* Some airports may charge an additional surcharge.

Lastly, some my find this useful... http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/2200/Comparin ... harges.pdf

R/T Economy $790, nice. Continuing on, I did a little light reading and discovered that when using my retiree discount, I can stay at a 4* for $50 per night, sweet.
All in, $1300 plus an unknown $$$ for incidentals (cannabis) = ONE LARGE TIME!!!
Not bad when compared to 4/20 Amsterdam, all in about $1280 plus an unknown $$$ for incidentals (cannabis) = ONE LARGE TIME!!!
Choices and decisions... hmm................

I looked at the prices of the DB and wondered why there are no "Sparpreises".
Even with my Bahncard 50 it was expensive. Then I've decided to go with KLM.
Saves time, but I hate the security checks at STR when you leave. :?

That's the fuel surcharge, it's always about half of the ticket price
Next trip: November 2013

Tell me about it! I wanted to visit my daughter in Mexico this spring, it costs 800 dollars for a round trip ticket in mid-March. Two or three years ago, it cost 350-400 for the same trip. (In total, it's only 3 1/2 hour of flight time). I'm not sure if it's for the same reason as the prices for Europe, but I know that there are fewer flights to Mexico than two years ago and that has something to do with the prices. I see then that you've finally "pulled the trigger," to borrow Nimrod's apt phrase.
