Usually fly KLM here and they do not tend to drop much. Might be forced to go with EVA next couple of times cos they so much cheaper and also a good airline.

It is such a wrench changing loyalty schemes though.

We could'nt wait any longer. We went with KLM....tad over a grand. Prices might drop another $50, but screw it, we didn't want to take a chance.
It's all good now...get in April 16, wifey gets in April 22....and we leave the 29th.

Yeah, when it was that low, I just had to pull the trigger. Just knew I wasn't going to see that price again.

April is the start of tourist season just about everywhere in the northern hemisphere, especially in North Holland, with all the flowers popping up at the Keukenhof. Most of the slow-moving old folks clogging up the April sidewalks in Amsterdam find their way to Lisse at some point. Gotta see the tulpen, haha.

Compared to your list above $1002,- via PHL ($1051,- with United; 1044;- with Delta) seems not that bad. You can only lose if you wait too long. To get a better price is a gamble.

Yeah, I'm getting nervous about this. Tickets went up from $1000 to $1020 last night for a round trip ticket to Amsterdam.

Some airlines give you the option of holding a price for a few days for a fee. United does it: 3 day hold for 8 bucks and a week hold for 20 dollars. KLM will hold it 48 hours for 20 dollars I believe.
