MY flight went up about $60, so...fook me. But...it did this last Tuesday as well. Last week, I told myself that I would pull the trigger this week, so if it goes back down to what it was...bang!

Prices went up $65 last night on round trip ticket, now $1086 (same price for April and May). That's an increase of 86 dollars since last week. Damn!

I know most people like to fly direct but JFK-DUB-AMS is a decent option at $802. The added bonus is on the return. US Immigration and Customs are done at DUB so arrival in JFK is as a domestic flight saving quite a bit of hassle when you are knackered. http://www.dublinairport.com/gns/at-the ... rance.aspx

When you write that, I assume you really don't mean that, because if you do buy three one-way tickets, you'll pay a lot more as opposed to buying a 'multiple destination' ticket (Home to Rome, then Amsterdam to Home), and then perhaps buy a separate one-way from Rome to Amsterdam. Sorry, don't mean to get into your business, I would just hate to see you pay way more than you need to for a trans-Atlantic flight.

@Sailor59: Thanks for that bit of info regarding Ireland. By the way, I noticed that you will be in town in late May. I'll be in town for about 17 or 18 days in May and early June. I'll be staying at Hotel Voyagers, May 27-31. The rest of the time I'll be at an apartment in Oud West and then for a few days with a friend in Almere. Hope to see you there, man.

dont remember your date but did a quick search on kayak approx about 1400 each depending on the dates

thats what i was seeing as well,....1400 and up ,...was lookin at fly out to rome,17th april then fly into the dam on the 21st ,then fly home on the 8th may from the dam,...i can fly from rome to the dam for 70,...but you know how things get moved,....

well my family that lives in rome is in tanzania ,..so i had to move my dates but cant passup a free stay in rome so my dates are lookin like 21st in the dam but i swindled 3 more days in the dam ,...but things change,.....
