Will be in Dam next month with a group of 9 and neither of them have ever been to Amsterdam before. Basically looking for some hot spots such as places to eat, drink, chill, smoke etc. So here are my fav places:

Cafe De Klos – Best ribs
In de Wildeman – awesome weissbier
Screaming Beans – love their espresso
Lost in Amsterdam – best place to chill
Burger Bar – juicy burgers
Cafe Loetje – if you’re thinking about eating a steak, this is the place
Pancakes! – best pancakes
Vapiano – nice Italian food
Wynand Fockink – great jenever
Bakkerswinkel – simply the best cheesecake in town
De Drie Graefjes – for cupcake lovers
Van Dobben – try the van dobben kroket
Lanskroon – award-winning stroopwaffles
Small World – best sandwiches
Winkel – delicious apple pies
Vleminckx Sausmeesters – best fries
Vondelpark – best place for a shroom trip

When it comes to coffeeshops the top 5 would be Grey Area, Dampkring, 420, Club Media and Greenhouse. Don’t no any coffeshops large enough for 9 of us to sit in though.

Anyway this is my list of fav places. What is yours?

I'm thinking of good places for a party of 9. Tricky with coffeeshops as if they even have a big enough table it still has to be totally free to fit you all on it! Most places will only have one table big enough.

Having said that....

Lots of places have big tables with enough room for nine. 420 cafe, Siberie and Spirit all spring to mind. Green place has a lovely area the nine of you could just about take over in the back. Chill music and big TV showing sports. Club Media is easily big enough for a group of 9 around the sofa/tv area. That would be my choice. Such a lovely area to wander after getting stoned

t'nes has a table on the left as you walk in that seats 9 as I recall. You might have to get there early to get the table.

Barney's uptown is a place you'll have lots of room cos the prices keep many away.

The upstairs vape bit at Anyday would fit 9 just about perfectly. You could take it over and have a vape session up there. Yes it is upstairs overlooking the windows in the Singel RLD. You can actually watch money change hands for sex while you smoke

With all these places it is 'pot' luck of course

Cafe Batvia is a place you can eat, drink and smoke right across from Voyagers coffeeshop. Voyagers is a small shop but you could buy from there and all go over the canal to Cafe Batvia where you can smoke in their lounge overlooking the canal. I'm sure you could put 2 or 3 tables together.

I'll bet there are loads more places that would do the same. a party of 9 in amsterdam has some pull I'd say. That is a lot of money to the business that wins your custom.

Nine people won't make a dent in the space on the second floor of Prix D 'Ami.
