caught the edit police out having coffee and donuts

Edited an inane post in the Liars club thread many hours after posting it yesterday, and no edit mark.

Has this ever happened to you?

That mark only shows when there is an answer to your post.
If there is no answer untill you edit, no edit mark shows.

Am I right?
