... Klos seems to be the spot !
with their opening hours and my daytime only visit... I will have to settle for the burgerbar this time around .... But next overnighter I am booking a table!

they dont take reservations, just so up around 1630-1645 and enjoy

Wish I could remember the name of this ribs place, one that I visited in July 2011. It's in between the Leidseplein and the Frederiksplein on a pedestrian street. If I remember correctly, it has a Brazilian name, or at a least a Brazilian theme to it. They had all you can eat ribs for 11 or 12 Euro (or maybe it was 10). They weren't the best in the world, but not the worst either....ate there at about 4 or 5 in the afternoon after spending an intense 2 hours at the nearby RokerJ.

Lots of review sites I've looked at say Cafe De Klos opens at 17.30. Do you mean get there early and queue? Surely they can't be THAT good!

i go to Klos alot, the review site might say they open at 1730,, but take it from experience they open at 1630, sometime they might be little late but never past 1700, i have been hiting this place for years,

Same experience here. They are busy and fill up quickly. I've been in around 5:00 a couple of times. Those were the only times there that I did not have to wait for a spot at the bar to eat.
