iso files need to be burned or 'mounted'.

I don't know how to explain what an iso (nrg & img are similar type file you may run into) file is. Most CD/DVD burning software is capable of burning these file types. I prefer NERO Burning ROM.

You can also use software to 'mount' the image files (iso, nrg, img) on a 'virtual hard drive' on your PC and use you regular media player to play it from there. The software i use to 'mount' files is called Daemon Tools (readily available for DL, may even be freeware??).

make sense??

next question

Daemon tools is freeware, but due to some funky copyright law, they can't host the installer on their official website, so just google for it.

And an ISO is simply a virtual copy of a CD, it's all the data on the CD in one file, called an "image file", because it's a mirror image of the cd. Personally, I like alcohol 120% for burning, ripping and mounting, but it's not freeware.

you are starting to lose me here....

if the file in the folder are RAR (compressed) you will need to extract them first.

if you have an ISO file you can burn that with NERO.

if you burn the compressed files or even uncompress them and burn to a disc it will most likely not play on a DVD palyer.

if the files are DVD files after extracting ( something like .vob, .ifo, etc, and all contained in a 'video_ts' folder) then you can burn that folder in NERO. Use the DVD files option.

you may wanna have a look at the site http://www.videohelp.com. Tons of great info and step by step guides on there. It a little tought to navigate at first but then is soooooooo much info there.

hope i helped somewhat, just hard to follow what you have and what you need to do without seeing it........

NERO cost as much as any other torrent!

yes yes the Video_ts folder should contain all the 'DVD files' that make up the DVD. In Nero (and other burners i'm assuming) there is an option to burn DVD using the 'DVD files' .....simple as that.

If you want to mount the ISO onto a virtual drive then a programe called alcohol is good to use. (Just another alternative i thought i'd throw in there)

VLC player can play all file types and is completely free. Its dead easy to use and is especially useful for torrent downloads.
