Yup, hopefully this dont sound to cheeky but money is not really a concern for me, but I like the sound of Colorado better but I am going to do a month or so in Cali too just to make sure.

The weed in Colorado is way cheaper and can be just as good as Cali weed if you know where to get it.

Yeah, I checked it out. It's more like an art gallery/event venue than a club per se. There's a little room in the back with a couch, chairs, and oil rigs/bongs. Out back behind the building there's a party area with a stage for music acts. Nice place, if you're in the Denver area you should check it out.

Yeah this is why Im thinking of going so I can bring family along, 2 days of cup for me, 5-7 days of family vaca time in colorado springs....cant wait!

Whelp its official, Im attending the First Cannabis Cup in the USA, it took alot of hard thinking and soul searching. I mean you just dont throw away a trip to Amsterdam without ALOT of thinking and considering.
I Just cant turn down the chance to attend the 1st cup and to check out a place where its actually legal to toke (forgetting the feds that is ) in my own beloved country.
Also a big Thanks to the caring members here for all the info I have received, it is much appreciated.

Also, keep in mind the venue where Cypress Hill is playing is pretty far from the Cup. I'm not sure if they have transport arranged for those going from the Cup to Red Rocks, but I doubt it. It's about 1/2 hour drive or more from the Exdo to Red Rocks. I'd rent a car for that.

You might want to plan on bringing food, I'm not sure if the Cup will have any available. Though Exdo does cater. As you can see here, there ain't much out this way. http://goo.gl/maps/frgxu

I agree, totally heartbroken about not going to Amsterdam this year however Denver is SO much cheaper and to the experience cannabis freedom here in the US will be Priceless!!!
