RIP. Kevin Ayers.

Kevin Ayers, founding member of Soft Machine has died age 68. Many older stoners will remember this psychedelic rock band which vied with the early Floyd in the 60s as the Heads favourite band. Also remember his Dad, Robert, who was the creator of The Old Grey Whistle Test which brought many great bands to the front.
