Lol indeed. Feel bad for a guy in need, been there myself but if you were to head out down the cowgate you will likely meet a dodgy dude willing to rip you off with a wet bit of weed haha.

iv lived in Edinburgh for many years, not once has anyone ever offer me weed (or in fact any other drug on street). Although if you are brazen you could ask some of the many people who openly smoke it walking the streets. They are very unlikely to help you though. There is plenty of good weed about, you need to know the right people.

As a tourist your best bet with no connections is either at a club night called "messenger sound system" (on once a month) or a shop called "apothecary" (clerk street) attracts people who may help you, the shop will not.

The only drugs for sale on street in my experience is smack, coke and diazepam - off junky types. Or it is easy to score pills (I wont call them e, as they are very,very unlikely to be mdma) in clubs with house/techno/electro nights on.
