coffee shop menus

Post by skeeta »

im sure this topic has been covered before.

but im stuck in a place (a mental place) where i go to dam in 50+ days and i want to start planning my purchases (what weed to get where)!

How often do coffeeshops change their menus? I see Gapie updates Voyagers on a regular (monthly?), thank you Sir, appreciated.

I check the menu site everyday, every friggin day, hoping for an update for somewhere, everywhere, anywhere!!!

We need to get the updates coming on more of a regular than they currently are. A team effort. A conscious effort. An effort for our fellow ACD members!!

One day FBN's menu pages will be in a digital stoner museum. It is all so delightfully convoluted as a process. However we are the pioneers. One day the world will catch onto weed and you'll be able to check on updated online menu's like in the USA.

To answer your main question about menu changes - 'when they run out'

To answer your question about menus - when stoners like myself, Stuart1976 or Colino who go to the trouble of taking menu pics and then FBN who goes to the trouble of posting them on the internet.
As you can see the process means it is more of a historical record than an up to date resource.

However it is better than nothing.

I thought a new shop opened since there was a new shop in the review forum. And out of curiosity, how many menu pics have you submitted?

I always take some menu shots. It's up to the visitors to take pics. If you want to see menus take pics and send them to FBN.

Instead of waiting for menu updates to be posted my suggestion is to read the threads about the latest weed in the Dam about a week before you arrive. The shops run out, things change, stuff happens so depending on the latest menu update may put you behind on the so called latest and greatest.

Just before going to the Dam I monitored the latest coffeeshop and cannabis strain reviews and had an entire plan mapped out of where to go to get the best. I am a note taker by nature so I had notes of where to go to find the best. Folks are really good about sharing their experiences here of the great and not so great varieties.

Good luck and enjoy your stay in the Dam - post a trip report for those of us who can't be there!

And, always ask first, better told no than thrown out, then get some nice fresh menu pictures.
Email them to CoffeeshopMenus@gmail.com. Please include date, shop, and how you want it credited.

Enjoy

if i do a load of buy and flys in a row then ill take pics..if the shops packed i will not take a picture.. ive never known a coffeeshop (well maybe a few) that wouldnt allow a menu pic.. shame my pics are normally out of focus or just half, but somethings better than nothing. theres never an excuse not to ask for a pic and second question i always ask after purchase is do you have any old menus i can have Please..

If my post came across twatish, what is should of said was the menus are currently dominated by kush, haze and diesels or crosses for 12-18 euros, and then the majority of lower priced weeds are jack herer, ak47 and white widow for 5-10 euros
With the lower end weeds they will normally do a deal of 5g for 10% discount
the hashes stuart would be better at pricing cause i dont really smoke hash
Pretty much the only menus that wont change as much as others are barneys and greenhouse

Gapie does a good job with voyagers which is good cause there menu seems to change every 3-4 weeks sometimes even sooner and to be honest if there was more locals like him that was on here and willing to update the menus that often it would be great but stoners are stoners and we can only rely on those handful that are kind enough and willing enough to take and upload photos

Sorry if it seems like a rant its not im just trying to help and i think without photos this is next best thing, like Rollingstoned said keep checking travelogues and check the forum a week before for any new updates

Your post didnt come across 'twatish' at all mate. I appreciate the info and your opinion. There was obviously no intention to make me look like a tool (which you didnt), unlike the post after  . My aim was just to encourage ppl to take pics when possible. :D

Thanks for answering my questions about the menus :D
