It does... That's what attracted me in the first place... I know for a fact i'm going to remember parts of this trip just because the room is so unique.

I know... ...and if you consider Geldersekade an extension of Kloveniersburgwal, i have my apartment, followed by Basjoe, followed by Greenplace, followed by HSBatM, ending up at Voyagers! Just the walk from centraal on day one is gonna bankrupt me!

Was it a pleasent stay? All i'm concerned about is what the guy who rents the place is like, and that the kitchen is relatively clean... As long as there are no horror stories, i'm not too worried.

Yeah... As i said, it's definitely unique.... The fact that there is no security deposit was also a big factor in picking a place... Anything remotely similar would have cost another £60-£100, and the rest had a deposit, which would limit my funds while im there.

The more i look at the place, the more i like it... I can't wait to get there!

Truth is, i think i would have booked the place anyway, since it was the cheapest available for the dates i wanted, and allows smoking. The playstation has left me with more questions, if anything... Like, how many pads are there? ...What games are there? At least i know i'll have full internet and something to play USB's on.

Kinda bittersweet since i found i could have had this apartment for an extra £50 each!

So, i'm assuming that the Getaway apartment might be in the same condition then!?!?!

Personally, i've come to accept that i have to put up with certain shit-holes when staying in the Dam... Just the Kitchen i have my issues with as home cooking was going to be one of our money saving provisions. ...May have to invest in some pots and pans

I wouldnt call it a shit hole, its a place where you stay for a stag weekend, but not with a wife or girlfriend. Just get high and you will enjoy. Good location, but some stairs to hike
