Day 1
Sun was shining as we walled out of CS, perfect.
Anyday – familiar bud tender – nice chat about the menu – Grinspoon was ice sold out.
, Raspberry something looked nice but had a strange smell. Got 15% discount on the 5g and free papers and tips.1g Dr Grinspoon E16.50 -didn’t smell of much at all but I wanted some for my first smoke. Not great flavor but lovely high.
2g Roh Tang Pass E17 – cheaper by E5 than previously – the dealer said it was reflecting the quality(nice to see honesty). This time it was in hard pressed slabs rather than lumps. Not quite as amazing and sticky as before but still fucking good.
1g Reserva X E14.50 – Thick creamy smooth smoke that produced a heavy eyed, comatose stone. Made my brain melt.
1g Strawberry Cough E12.80(ish) – did have a subtle strawberry flavour, not my cup of tea but nice.
Walking down Nieuwezijds I see mate A sitting outside Utopia with a big grin on his face. He frantically tells me that he has smoked White Choco/Amazing Haze Boerenjongens(first good second not so), Abusive OG from GP (nice) and Kosher Kush from Voyagers (best so far). I reject the offer of half a spliff and go inside to get my sativa on.
Utopia – Great friendly service and chat with Nel. Gold toothed yank talking about guns and black hash was amusing. Smoked the Grinspoon followed by the Roh Tang, for a moment I thought to myself ' I'm not that high,' then my fingers stated to tingle and woosh I was flying.
1g Champagne Haze E14 – this was my favorite smoke form august 2012 trip. Buds weren’t as tight as that batch but same sweet hazy taste and high. YUMYUM!
1g Recon E15 – more yum yum, musky flavors, slow stone.
Walk up to Voyagers at 12ish, SHUT!
HSBM – lemon haze didn’t smell great so I went with
1g Black Spice E15 – didn’t get a pic of this for some reason, looked exactly the same as Judos pic of it. Great bit of black hash, which I'm not normally that into.
No space on the sofas so on to
Green Place
Too many OG's on the menu, didn’t like what I saw so just got a hot chocolate.
Pieminister for the now routine mothership pie. Mmmmmm. My mate got the soup of the day and when he asked what meat was in it the waitress jokingly said horse!
Tram to the hotel to check in, then jump on the 3 to
Papilion – Gardella and the top sativa which name I have forgotten were sold out.
2g Gold Cream E10/g = E18/2 – more like a sandy crumbly polm than last time. Nice sweet maroc taste.
1g G12 E11 – I don’t know if the name was a typo but it was nice hazy smoke.
De Graal – Back to heaven, I really do love this place. Glasses of juice have got smaller but still best value in town. It was full upstairs so we grabbed a seat down stairs and chilled playing cards for a few hours.
2g Special cream E18/g – slightly darker than the cream, in the same sized bullets. As soft as it gets. Mouth watering fresh floral flavors that followed by a quickly induced, really clear, clean uplifting high, strong but still slightly subtle (if that makes sense) It was the smoke version of drinking cold mineral water when your really thirsty, smooth and refreshing. Amazing! I couldn't choose the best pic so here's them all!
2g Cream E16/g – much more blonde on the inside than the special. Not quite as wonderful up high, more piney taste = another top notch piece of hasj.
1g HR E13 – Candy lemony Haze yum yum.
1g NYCD E12 -Was slightly too fresh, but the diesel taste was there and I'm a sucker for it.
Grey area – Mate A went(he didn't have a tram pass and left us at the hotel and met us again in De Graal), I wasn’t planning to go but was interested to see what they had.
1g OG Kush E? – meh – no pic – no flavors of og/diesel
1g Kosher Kush E16 – YUM – nice kushy tang.
0.5g Purple Sour Diesel E?- meh – no diesel flav
Club Media – low on Zooltjes, disappointed with the smell/appearance of Motivation(which was my favorite in Nov). Friendly Spanish tender who knew her stuff.
2g Hindu Kush E11/g – nice smoke, especially good for the price.
0.5g KC Jones – should have got more!! lovely! Similar to the Motivation in November. Mouth watering savory flavor, a bit like pork stuffing sausages.
