hi guys

i plan to visit the great city of Amsterdam in a few weeks with friends, as a newbie I was wondering which coffee shops we should visit in terms of quality of weed in comparison to the price. I do smoke quite a lot of weed at home regularly so could do with something quite strong to get me completely blazed

What strains are best to buy at this time of year

are your friends newbies to dam too?? if yes. there will be a few ACDers in town i would suggest hooking up with them. i miss you by 4 days and i love showing newbies round.. you can set up a toke and talk they are great and you always have fun, at worst youll be smashed off your face.
is your hotel close to central station?? for a first timer i would drop off your bags before you smoke. i would go for something middle range then see how you feel. i smoke shit loads, but ive lost it about a million times in a million different ways, none of them that pleasant. i see nothing wrong with stitching a mate up. always makes for a great story to take home.
when stoned you need to watch out for bikes (no joke) they will run you down if you stand in front of them. youll be stoned and think was that a bell and then wallop. ive nearly been run over by every form of transport there is in dam when shashed
if you like to drink with your smoke then t'nes is the place to go. you will get lost untold times it all looks the same straight, let alone when your hammered. if you have a mate that loses it, dont make that the end of the night for you as well, ruined plenty of trips doing that. also the one constant about going to dam with mates instead of going solo is mates ruin trips.

If you were to visit Voyagers, Utopia, Grey Area, Paradox, Club Media you wouldn't be going far wrong. Beware the touristy shops as their weed can be good but the prices suck. You could devote a day to different areas. De Pipj for Club Media, Katsu. West for Paradox, 1e Hulp. Centrum for Voyagers, Grey Area, Utopia. Unless you enjoy watching teenagers off their tits avoid Bulldog.

hi yes we all all new to amsterdam, hotel 20 minutes from central station I believe, we will probably end up doing other thing than just coffee shops as we would like explore the city while high. I had a look through your travel log it was very cool, your mcdonalds story sounded like a right laugh. I will try to get to all of the above coffee shops at some point to stock up on supplies and have a smoke for a couple of hours in the evening.
