I heard that vilengbos were very anti weed. Was this wrong? I have stayed at zeeburg and would recommend it. Staff were very friendly. The cabins are overpriced for what they are imo.
Not the times I stayed there they weren't (last time would have been about 2006ish I suppose). I mean we never walked into the camp shop with a large joint, that would be a bit rude, but we flagrantly smoked on the porch bit outside our hut every trip every day without any problem at all. Had mushrooms on the site twice, again without any issues as we didn't disturb anyone else.

They did have a "No Drugs" sign next to their reception but I didn't think that meant weed, and a groundsman confirmed so on my first stay and that I was fine to smoke on the hut porch (where there's sand pots for ashtrays). Maybe other people have had different experiences, but for me it wasn't a problem.

Thanks... :)
Pretty soon I'm gonna have to get a job to pay back all my fellow stoners (and non-stoners alike)... :)

On subject. pre-booking usually isn't expensive, it's when booking at the last minute that one typically finds higher prices. that being said, moving on to mokum...
With our lovely lady, she has busy seasons, the busiest begins roughly around Queens Day (Kings Day on 27 April 2014). The busy season extends into early September, with peak periods between end of June to mid August.
As with most all (oxymoron? ) things business related, demand sets price.
I wish our fellow stoner travelers a happy journey...
