It's Tuesday morning and myself and a friend have a day trip to Amsterdam planned. We're flying at about 7.30am so I'm up about 5 and smoke a spliff of blue cheese to prepare myself for the long day ahead. It does the job and before I know it I'm at the airport and checked in. No problems with the flight and we're up in the air and on our way. Less than an hour later and the plane is touching down at Schiphol. It's always a great feeling to be back in Amsterdam even after many trips. The fun is about to begin. We quickly buy train tickets and are walking out of Central Station in no time. We know exactly where we're heading to first. We cross the road, go round the corner and there it is... Voyagers.
We quickly enter the coffeeshop and go straight to the counter. Time to get smashed. I'd been here years ago and never been back until recently. It was after reading reviews and reports on here that made me return and I'm glad I did. It's now my first stop when I arrive in Amsterdam. An English guy and his girlfriend are working and ask if we're here for Testing Tuesday. He then showed me some nice buds and explained that it was a mystery weed to test. It looked and smelled really nice so my mate got a gram of that and I got a gram of OG Kush. We sat down at the table next to the counter and quickly skinned up. Here we go....
We both rolled a joint of the testing tuesday weed. It was really good. It tasted as good as it looked. I have no idea what it was though to be honest. Anybody know? Grapefruit? Whatever it was it did the job and I was grinning from ear to ear and almost giggling like a first time smoker. Good stuff. The first smoke was gone in no time so it was time for number two. I rolled a nice spliff of OG Kush and lit it up. Very nice. By the time I finished this one I was nicely wrecked. Both the testing tuesday weed and the OG Kush were top quality. My mate was looking pretty chilled too. The trip to Voyagers has been a success and a great start to the day 10/10. But we're only here for the day so it's time to move on.......
We leave Voyagers and decide to look for a coffeeshop we both wanted to visit. The stupid thing was neither of us could remember the name or where it was. We walked around for about 20 minutes before we decided we were too stoned to be looking for a place that we didn't even know the name of and decided to head for the Grey Area. Luckily for us we knew where this was and we weren't too far away. It was freezing cold and I was glad to see The Grey Area was open as it had been closed the last couple times I'd visited. Even better there was no queue at all. Perfect....
I'd not been in here for a couple years but recognised the budtender straight away. He greeted us with a smile and asked what we'd like to buy. I was like a kid in a sweet shop and wanted it all. The Casey Jones caught my eye though and I purchased 2g of that. My friend still had a joint of the testing tuesday weed left so decided not to buy anything here and we decided to walk round the corner to Amnesia for a coffee and smoke as The Grey Area was pretty full. So we thank the budtender and head off to sample the weed...
