I've been reading the posts on this site for a couple months now but I've stayed out of the conversation so far. I'd like to thank everyone for the shared wisdom.
Well I finally booked my first trip and hopefully I won't seem like a total n00b tourist thanks to all the insight. Just me and 1 mate going and it looks like we'll be spending most of the time toking or working online. It'd be nice to run into some of you while I'm there and I should have plenty of time to do just that.

You do know the 30th is the busiest holiday here. What time does your flight leave that day and what area of town are you staying in? Public transportation will not run in the center and Centraal Station will close for crowd control at some point during the day.

Balou - Thanks for the info about the holiday. I did read about Queen's Day but then completely forgot about it. I am staying on Singel so I'll be in the thick of it all probably but I think my flight leaves early in the morning so I shouldn't get mixed up in the crowds. Not having access to public transportation is important to plan around though.

Gapie - I feel I must try to meet you - the person who has a HUGE smile for everyone who is coming to town.

DonMarciano - such a short trip you're having. I'm down for a smoke so let's meet up. Got any favourite places? I'm new to town so my suggestions won't be very helpful.

Big C - I figured a long trip would be best. Normal vacations fly by so I'm sure the haze of this trip will make it feel short too. My mate and I have our birthdays just on either side of 4-20 so what better place to celebrate right?

Once I get my bearings I'll probably propose a TnT or two to get a chance to meet as many friendly smokers as possible. Looking forward to it

I know mate, I m just going for work really. Have to go to Amersfoort on friday for the day, i ll pop back over to the CC for a few and then I ll hit the road south to visit my aul ones!

I ll probably be around Voyager - Green Place on Thursday evening and I dunno about friday.

I see there is a T&T planned for the 15th in Utopia for 9.30am, so I'm going to pop along to that. I was in there in Feb and liked it a lot. I made a list of things to do last visit and never got round to half of them, so this time my only "plans" are the T&T, a visit to anyday to try they vaporizers and cafe nes for a few beers.

Check the Who's In Town since its so close to 420 there should be a few T&T that week.
