Train from the Airport

Apparently there's a train running from the airport that's quite cheap. Our plan is catch that then slowly take a mooch to our room stopping at a few coffee shops on the way

Taxis are rip offs, my mate went and cost 60e from the airport.

depends on where your hotl is there is bus, cheaper then the train

Can't remember where we're staying a week there and flights came to 350 so it's not gonna be luxury haha.

Can't give you any suggestions if you can't even tell us where you're staying.

Wright down the name and address of were you are staying, it helps you get directions when you get lost. Amsterdam is a large city, with a variety of very efficient public transportation, and the cabs are clean and fair, show the driver your note and he/she will get you there especially after mooching through a few coffee shops

assuming your going to centraal the train is dead easy, quick and cheap
takes about 20mins or so and costs around 4 euros (from memory).

If you're staying in the Center, yes. But the bus is a better option if you're staying in the Vondelpark/Museumplein/Leidseplein area.

Its not how big the city is its how fucking confusing it is.

Mate i swear u r better off jus staying in the centre. My first trip oh so long ago nw, i stayed at hem hotel about 20mins out of town all i have to say is That novice mistake was never made again. Plus its far more expensive.

My little advice to u is to stay as long as possible in the centre b4 retiring back to your hotel cos ur gonna take lots of naps and smoke less weed than u planned too.
