Hi, stayed in The Bulldog mainly over the last 10 trips, what I really like is the lobby area and the fact it has a 24 hour walk in anytime vybe with a permantley manned desk, so you can literally go get something to eat at 3am or go down for a smoke.
On my next trip, I might fancy a change in hotel though, although I would really like the same 24 hour reception type thing, where you are free to go in and out the hotel without having to bother any of the staff or ring a buzzer etc.
Anyone reccomend anywhere?
Hotels with a '24 hour' reception.

name your own price, take a look but be sure to bid on only 4-5* hotels (best deals)

A four star hotel is supposed to have a manned reception at least 18 hours a day, a five star is 24 hours a day. In my experience most four stars will have a 24 hour reception. Dunno what your budget is but we stayed at The Moevenpick last year and have booked again for this year. It's only one tramstop from Centraal and the room service was 24/7 and excellent.benstraat wrote:Hi, stayed in The Bulldog mainly over the last 10 trips, what I really like is the lobby area and the fact it has a 24 hour walk in anytime vybe with a permantley manned desk, so you can literally go get something to eat at 3am or go down for a smoke.

As matty says, you can't really go wrong with priceline if you stick to four stars and up.
Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine....
