All the Blue's, etc. I enjoy having all races, sexes etc. on site as you can always learn something new from some one, no matter who. May I point out to my friend from Redbird Nation that she raised this topic, and it's still hanging there? I believe you initially wrote that you wondered why more women didn't post, then surmised that you had discovered said reason and decided to join them in not posting anymore.
In your subsequent post, you wrote that many of your friends who smoked as teen-agers have given it up, which seemed to be your rationale regarding why women don't post, although you never actually said so. Is that the reason you were referring to in your initial post? Also, you wrote you weren't fading away, which is cool, although I'm sure you understand the confused reaction, since the initial post indicated we wouldn't be hearing from you anymore.
I hope you don't go away, because your viewpoint is valued. I look forward to your response about whether long-since-unweeded female friends giving up their smoking habit is why women don't post, or whether there is something more to it, in your view. As for the weedy friends, that's what the forum is for.

LOL ok now I have to post again since courtjester mentioned my WORLD champion Cardinals. Wasnt that awesome! And you also mention my alma mater SLU. Awwwwwww the memories of the college bars. Could it have been the Billiken bench club? There are several new bars down there that I havent had the chance to check out. To get down to your question, I read a post that struck me wrong and then I decided not to post again. After re reading it, I may have read too much into it but still felt like I was the only woman posting on a regular basis. I will at this point still post, but would really like to see more ladies posting along with me. I do see occasional lady post, but not many. I really enjoy this forum along with VDF. I cant wait to go back to amsterdam in april. I have travel all over the world and have never found a greater place then Amsterdam. I just love it. peace to all

thats probably the biggest problem with reading written text and having to assume your are right in the context in which you've read it... does that make sense?
I've sometimes read posts and have really been insulted, offended by it... coming back to it and reading again, maybe when less baked, it reads much better.
Interesting why women don't post as often as men. I'd love to know the stats on that, the ratio of time each sex spends reading to posting by gender.
My theory is that men view smoking dope in Amsterdam as a hobby, like DIY, and enjoy talking about all the technical details of it, much like fishermen compare hooks, and tensile strength of lines and god knows what else

I think you've hit the nail on the head there jen, not just smoking in Amsterdam though, more like all the time. I fish too... the blokes i know chat all about weed and everything to do with it... sometime me and my mate have some very detailed conversations and not just about the weed but also the effects. I guess women don't do this?

I can't speak for others but as far as I have seen, there are quite alot of guys that post on the forums that would happily engage in anything the women wanted to chat about... but having said that, i'm not 100% sure of what you mean by "girlie chat"...?
