It's another cool morning here as I start my last day in Switzerland. I am almost completely packed and ready to make the trip back to Netherlands with my Swiss associate.

We plan to arrive in Almere Haven sometime around 7pm tonight. We'll be staying at Els' Place until Tuesday afternoon when we check into the Greenhouse Effect Hotel on Warmoesstraat. Then Friday and Saturday nights we will be staying at Voyagers Hotel.

We are both really looking forward to returning to Amsterdam. I hope that I will be able to toke up with some cool ACD folks while I'm there.

More updates coming from Els' Place after we arrive.

I need to get my wake-n-bake started and finish my preparations to leave...

Here I Go Again!

Thanks for the infos and advices, D. 8) 'd never heard of the Chillie Kiki CS before, but surely liked the sound of the Amnesia you got there.
I may make a day of it and hit the museums in Lelystad as well...

Since you're intereted in the neighborhood planning, you're definitely going to want to check out Almere Haven, which was the first community in Almere. The layout and design is loyal to the original intent of the city planners in regards to the feeling of living in a park, etc.
While in Almere Haven, by all means, check out the Chillie Kiki coffeeshop. It's buy and fly but the product is top notch.

The Return to Almere Haven

My Swiss associate and I set out from Switzerland around 11:30 this morning after filling up with gasoline. The drive across Germany was amazing. The scenery was nice but the areas with no posted speed limit was what really made the trip interesting as my Swiss associate gave his Saab a nice work-out reaching speeds up to 220 kilometer/hour = 136.70 mile/hour (mph). Needless to say, we made GREAT time and had some fun, fun, fun on the autobahn.

We arrived in Almere Haven around 6:30 pm. After unloading the car and getting the bags upstairs to the room, my Swiss associate sat down with Els to roll up his usual hash joint with some of his stash he brought with him from the Hash Den. I was a little more cautious about traveling across Germany at high speeds with any herb, so I didn't bring anything with me. I decided to walk over to Chillie Kiki and pick up a gram of the Amnesia Haze while I had the opportunity. This is some great herb and I am happy to have had the pleasure of knowing it.

Tomorrow's agenda is pretty wide open at this time. I'm not really sure what I will end up doing but I am open to any suggestions.

I am just a few minutes away from crashing for the night with sweet Amnesia Haze dreams dancing through my head...

Here I Go Again!

I will be in Amsterdam tomorrow afternoon. I don't think I'll be able to make the Toke-n-Talk scheduled for 12 noon at Utopia. I am planning to meet a couple of other travelers tomorrow afternoon at the Greenhouse Effect Bar and/or Coffeeshop. We should plan to meet later at Voyagers, if that's agreeable with you.

Thank you for reading my posts. The Chillie Kiki coffeeshop does not have an entry in the Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory, at least, not one that I could find. I was first made aware of this shop back in 2008 and I was quite surprised to learn that this coffeeshop existed as I had been going to The Boat to fetch weed if I needed it while staying in Almere Haven. As I stated before, the shop is buy and fly but the product I have had has been superb. I have been to the shop twice on this trip and each time I have asked the budtender for recommendations but each time I have made my own choice, the Amnesia Haze.

I was unaware of the museum scene in Lelystad, I will have to think about making a day trip out there myself at some point. Thanks for sharing that information.

As for the 15 nights ON A BOAT... are you staying on the Botel or some other arrangment?

Thanks again!

I will not be able to make it to the 12 noon T-n-T at Utopia so I was hoping that you could meet me and my friends later in the day at Voyagers, Maybe around 4pm or so?

I'm staying on Willem's boat, about 1 or 2 huizenblokken from Het Ballonnetje, as the crow flies. Near UvA and Artis Zoo. Got it through Citymundo...

Not til next year. Alas. Too much weed to smoke in Cali. Had a great 4-20 here. Hope the rest of your trip goes well! It was cool to hear about the hash den. There had been a tea house in Zurich when I first arrived that was similar but with much less selection.
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

Sorry to learn that you will not be joining us this year. It's been a blast so far.
