Here I Go Again: The Progress

Re: Here I Go Again: The Progress
I enjoyed my visit to Grey Area this year but in the past, not so much. I did once receive rather curt service there and decided that it would be a better buy-and-fly spot for me rather than a place to hang out and toke, even though it seems that everyone wants to be seen there.cjcar wrote:Great video, thanks for producing and sharing....
Make's me feel like I'm back and also adds to my frustration waiting the three weeks until I get to return!
I missed Grey Area last year due to the lines. I was there during the start of CC and the line was literally down the street....
I'll be there again this month no matter how long the Q is though.... There are a few items currently on the menu I want to try.....
When I went back later during my stay this year, I bought the bud recommended by the budtender and while it was a good smoke, it did contain 2 immature seeds. I tried planting these seeds, only one sprouted and then dwindled and died, but I blame myself for that.
In the future, I think I will stick with their tried and true strains like Yellow Cab or NYCD. I still feel that the seating there is some of the most uncomfortable seats at any coffeeshop. Even the lousy Funny People coffeeshop added cushions to their uncomfortable bench seating after the unfortunate remodel.
Even though this may not be my most favorite coffeeshop in Amsterdam, I admire their reputation and I have a lot of respect for their success. I will give the Grey Area 2 Thumbs Up and recommend it for a buy and fly experience.

A Busy Day at Coffeeshop Voyagers
Wednesday, 24 April 2013:
Voyagers is conveniently located across from Centraal Station at the Metro end of Stationsplein. It is a small and friendly coffeeshop which has built an excellent reputation for being professionally run and a respectable source for top quality herb.
The video opens with scenes of the exterior of the coffeeshop and hotel, located at Geldersekade 2, quaintly situated next to the Oudezijds Kolk canal. Entering the coffeeshop there's a friendly reminder posted on the door that everyone from all over the world is welcome into the shop as long as you have a photo ID and are at least 18 years old.
Inside the shop, I capture scenes of the various activities of those in attendance as people come and go and make their purchases. You'll see regulars of the shop as well as visitors, many of them passing time here before catching the train out to the airport and their flight home.
Finally, rounding out this video, you'll see a fine example of the herb available at Voyagers and a look at the menu of the offerings at that time.
The original music is performed by Kevin MacLeod and it is provided royalty free from http://www.incompetech.com/
