Where's the best?

I've only ever been for one absolutely shit one on the Warmoesstraat, although I'd like to try others.

The floating one looks good, but it also looks pricey.

Anybody got any recommendations?

Floating one is MAD expensive...I refuse to go there.

Nam Kee has 3 locations, 2 in china town and one in de pijp. Oritental Palace near Dam has amazing dim sum but reservations are a must.

Gotta mention a good Wok place right between Rembrandtplein and Kleine Komedie:

Mr Wok Lombok.
Lot better and cheaper than Wok to Walk, less "westernized"...
The Veggie wok is 5 EUR, delicious....
You can actually eat in the cramped kitchen, but you'll have to bin your clothes afterwards

LAplace Woks are decent also, huge portions

Happy woking!!

Best in Amsterdam. There's a Dutch film, Oysters at Nam Kee or something...

New King on the zeedijk (articulate well to avoid confusion) is OK for noodle soups, but tbh i'd stay far away from anything zeedijk. Oceania in Scheldestr (Buitenveldert area) comes to mind, check out the smoked pork belly  One of th ebetter in the more "authetntic" vein but usually near 100 euro for two.

the Szechuan place on reguliers deserves a mention too , fiery but good
