It always happens to me a month or 2 before I go. Most times I'm dreaming of being in the city & realized I've arrived without something important like my passport or luggage or money . I find myself trying to rationalize in my dream about how this could have happened. I can see myself talking out loud about" this can't be real...there's no way I could have gotten here without a passort" or "how the fuck did I forget my backpack?" I wake up happy to realize it was just a dream and also upset that I'm not in Amsterdam. Last night was the 1st of what I can assume will be many similar dreams to come; as I don't leave for another 2 months. Anyone else have any interesting pre-trip nightmares?
I occasionally have one where I have no money and can't get my atm card to work. Looking desperately for a coffee shop that will take credit cards It doesn't sound like much of a nightmare now, but it always feels like one.
Id get the odd dream or two as time grows closer to my departure date. Although its Amsterdam, its never as we know it. No familiar shops etc. Weird.

I have nightmares about Airport security!i wish i could just hop on a magic carpet to amsterdam so i wouldnt have to deal with those shit heads they always search me just because of my tattoos.."oh he has tattoos must be a criminal"

Until Wifey started coming on trips to Dam , I think I was the "random" frisk search every fucking trip out shoes checked , phone checked , fuckers

i dream of access denied b always wake up...fuck up dream i get is that im leaving home on my bike telling people around me im biking to California im biking and for some weird reason i turn a corner and im on Rokin straat near Dam square also always wake up all confused

Love it... The one I had last week, I was standing on the Koningsplein when I realized I left my passport back in the states..I was a bit freaked out to say the least.
