Again on the wietpas in southern provinces...

Post by soulsearching »

Hi folks,
sorry to bother you but something is still not clear to me...I have seen in some threads and in the map by municipality that the south is off-limits for foreigners...this means that CS in Maastricht, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda are not allowed to seel to foreigners, is that right?
However, on another thread it was mentioned that smaller towns in the area such as Geleen, Sittard, Heerlen, Weert still allow foreigners to buy in their CS, does anybody know if this is still true?
Thanks in advance!
PS I know the variety and quality may not be comparable to A'dam, but unfortunately not all the time I have the chance to go all the way there

Hi man
I live in Leiden, in Zuid-Holland. We have no issues with the wietpass here. All are welcome. I do not know about the border towns but the last I heard the wietpass was an absolute failure.

Thanks man for the reply.
I was more interested about the situation in Limburg/Noord Brabant, but I will keep in mind what you wrote.

Well the most new News i heard is that Shops in masstricht,Kerkrade,Sittard and Herlen are open again.

I cant Speak netherlands so perhaps someone can translate this:

In understand that i can buy again in Kerkrade.
But in few hours we will know more,i will drive to kerkrade now ;)

Robert the Important Words are in Bold. All other (non Dutch residents) can go to Kerkrade,Heerlen and so on

Like i said i went to Kerkrade-Eygelshoven to the Shop where i buy my stuff for hmm,i think 10 Years or so...
The last time i was there was in May 2012 3 Days before the "Weedpass" started.

Yesterday i got the News in Dutch i posted above and decided to drive there today and it was full succes ;)
We could buy 5 Gramms per Person (not 3 like you can read elsewhere) and it was like before,no one asked any Question except what i want to buy ;)

I write this in German in case anyone googles for it:
"Coffeshops in Kerkrade open for Tourists again" "Coffeshops in Kerkrade verkaufen wieder an Touristen".

No,even on the Official Map 80% of Limburg are allowed for Foreigners. And no 3 G Limit.
I was in Quiam in Kerkrade today too,i bought 3,3 G Snowball Weed and 6.2 Gramms of Zero Hash (was was 2 Persons so 2x5 G was allowed). If youre German or Belgium it should be no problem. And on my Scale, all Bags have more content than they should, most times 50 to 100 mg more. Not much but nice ;)

The Story is long,i can tell it all.But short version is that after May 2013 it was in Mayor´s decision to open Shops. The Shops in Maastricht opened cause the Amount of Street Dealers was more than 150 per M² in the City. This lead to ten-thousands of visitors each day.To get them away from Maastricht the other Shops in Limburg was allowed to open too.

You also can look on this map. All Citys marked with "Kein Weedpass" sell to Foreigners (better said to People with the right to live in Netherlands. All European Union Citizens are allowed to live and work in Netherlands like Netherlands People are allowed to live and work in European Union automaticaly, you dont need any Papers or Passport at all,at least when you look adult and they not afraid you could be 17 or so.

http://keinwietpas.de/wo-gilt-der-wietpas-wo-nicht/

The Map is German, not get confused from this Stop-Shield Icons. This Icons means "No Weedpass" and not "No Tourists. All Citys marked with the Red Stop-Shield Icon "Kein Wietpass" are ok to buy from ;)

Edit: Man the next time i will buy only Snowball, this Weed is extreme nice and even i smoke more than 20 years daily,i get pretty high from 1 single Bong! its unreal how good it is ;)
