To my surprise I picked up a good afghan hashish at a coffeeshop a few steps down from voyagers. It wasn't labelled as anything but "afghan", except I was assured it was not the terrible border hash that goes around. Sure enough, it was a good hash. It had a uplighting and energetic high that you'd expect from a sativa but at the same time there was a sense of calm and relaxation. The only thing I noticed is that on the top slab there was a gold label/signature going across it, but not enough to make it out.
Any ideas on this label?

How much did you produce?
Re: Afghan 'gold label' hashish
when it used to be around here I was told it was the label of the family the produced the hashrobert__ wrote:To my surprise I picked up a good afghan hashish at a coffeeshop a few steps down from voyagers. Het Gelderse me thinks, tidy small shop with a nice canal view, 50 or so yards down the canal to the left hand side of Voyagers.treetop wrote:Do you mean Central Coffeeshop on Prins Hendrikstraat or Gerzelliwag or whatever it is called on the way to Niewmarket on a road running along the canal?.robert__ wrote:To my surprise I picked up a good afghan hashish at a coffeeshop a few steps down from voyagers. A few months back when I was in there I got talking to a local hash smoker who frequented the place for it's hash selection and quality, quite a few regulars get in.
Tried the Chocolope weed and that was very nice too.
They were also happy enough to show the goodies before purchase.
Worth dropping by for a try.
Cheers.

That sounds right (definitely to the left of voyagers, and not far) but I can't remember the name. Not hard to find, tho!Roccy Tittzenbeer wrote:Het Gelderse me thinks, tidy small shop with a nice canal view, 50 or so yards down the canal to the left hand side of Voyagers.treetop wrote:Do you mean Central Coffeeshop on Prins Hendrikstraat or Gerzelliwag or whatever it is called on the way to Niewmarket on a road running along the canal?.robert__ wrote:To my surprise I picked up a good afghan hashish at a coffeeshop a few steps down from voyagers. I think I will go back to the coffee shop and try to ask about this gold label. It has me really intrigued. I've seen "logos" on bars of soapbar before(why you would put your logo on that shit I have no idea) but this gold label is so much cooler. A touch of class.

Re: Afghan 'gold label' hashish
Its known here as gold seal. There is also red seal though Ive never actually come across it and its meant to he lower quality. As colino said Its usually the stamp of the family who produced it. The last stamp I saw was of 2 arab style swords crossed in an 'x'
Re: Afghan 'gold label' hashish
They were really common here 5 years ago but then they suddenly disappeared and now you can find only maroccan grown afghani genetics (imo maroccan are way better though). The gold label was really great quality and was cheap too, like 10e/g down to 70e for 10g. the red label was known as the "headache one" going for 5e/g decent taste but really terrible headache after smokingsensismiler wrote:Its known here as gold seal. Too many bad memories of Moroccan hash to go near it!Colino wrote:They were really common here 5 years ago but then they suddenly disappeared and now you can find only maroccan grown afghani genetics (imo maroccan are way better though). Even the soapbar has the same taste has the good moroccan hash, just ruins it for me.
