It might be strawberry sour D. Or it may be a strawberry pheno of diesel/NYCD. If it's that you're screwed (and that's possibly what the lady meant), you'd have to grow a lot of NYCD seeds to find this particular pheno again.
Anyway I'm going to try this one end of July, will let you know if I learn more smoking it

Well that's sad I'd loved to try this.
I don't wanna be disrespectful or something but I would trust what the girls at media say, but I wouldn't be that truthful with 1st hulp. What they sell us usually good or really good but they're the kind of guys who would "hype name" a strain

It is not SSD. I had that at 1eHulp during 4/20 week and there was quite a marked difference. The sour was stronger with a more prominent strawberry flavor as I recall. The SD from CM had a very very late strawberry flavor. Almost an after taste.

I'd say you are right about what the lady meant. That could be the worst news of all. If it is a pheno all I can hope for is the growers also breed and seeds will come one day.

ps

Alas they ran out of the SD while I was there of that particular batch. There was no more according to the BT.
Shame really as even the popcorn buds were gorgeous to smoke.
Thanks for all the info on the SD. It was one of the best coffeeshop weeds ever... gutted to see it's gone. Would be awesome to find out what the genetics were, chances aren't that good though... another Amsterdam legend.

edit: looks like its NYC Diesel x Strawberry Cough... http://grow-marijuana.com/strain-review ... rry-diesel

I never liked 1ehulps SSD, i thought it was a poor take on a good strain which i have had better of...... the club media variety reminds me more of what a breeder like darra would produce and definitely more like a strain the seed company devil's harvest would produce...... INDICA mad they are

For the connoisseurs out there or those with a constant eye out for a new powerhouse strain to enhance their collection, the Strawberry Original F2 should not be missed. Straight out of the history books, the Strawberry Cough (Kyle Kushman) and Original Sour Diesel were united in order to extract the very best from both strains. Around nine weeks flowering will bring you a batch of super strong buds packed with juicy strawberry flavour, but retaining the hard impact and floatiness of the old-school Kush.
