Who Orchestrated the Prohibition of Marijuana?
Re: Who Orchestrated the Prohibition of Marijuana?
not only FDR but the Rockerfellers and the Vanderbilts had a hand in it too, and alot others, remember they hanged a black man in i think mississippi or alabama, back in the early 1900 , sayin he was high on pot , which made him rape a white woman,, that also ahd something to do with it
Re: Who Orchestrated the Prohibition of Marijuana?
I'm not sure what to make of this story, but it's missing some extremely important information, such as during the turn of the century, Texas municipalities began using cannabis laws as a tool for racism. Laws were passed and enforced for no other reason than to abuse Mexicans. This happened nearly 30 years BEFORE Anslinger, Hurst, and the rest of the bigoted middle aged/old white man crowd, not to mention the various conspiracy theories that go along with them.
Bottom line - there are two primary theories I have regarding the debacle known as the war on cannabis...
1. It was/is used as a tool for racism.
2. Cotton is king, period.
As for the rest, I'll leave that up to the crowd who had nothing better to do in the 80's than trying to figure out who shot JR, and to those who still say there actually was a shooter on the grassy knoll. Move on already, it's over and done... most importantly, those responsible most likely are long dead. Harry died in '75, most of this should have died with him as well. What good does digging up the past really accomplish? In the past 40 years, since the start of the counter culture movement, has there been any significant revelation of why there is a strong opposition to cannabis legalization? Nope, mainly because it's never been a well kept secret.
Maybe some want the opposition to formally declare/admit to all the wrong doing they have done against decent people, and that the war on cannabis was a farce. Well, that ain't gonna happen, ever. Gather up two hands full of reality and splash on face... reality may suck, but at least it's real, right?!
Happy delusional fixation...
