On my first trip, I was staying across the street and I saw this place and thought, excellent, breakfast is,
in some ways, the most important meal of the day. I now wonder,
who serves regular breakfast?

Went to barneys the last time i was there and in fact it was a good breakfast. but the bill? think for 2 it came to 45 euros. The following day as i was staying in the red light i tryed stones cafe, was a decent breakfast. half the price. i would go back there to be fair.

Sat in stones cafe having a breakfast and they have stopped smoking inside. They have been fined for it.

I've found that for some unexplained reason English breakfasts seem highly and disproportionately expensive compared to other meals for what you get. Payed €14 in Barneys several years ago for an English breakfast so fuck knows what the average asking price is these days and even even then the sort of meals I was buying for the same sort of money pissed all over any fry-up quality & quantity wise. I've never understood why they are so expensive for what they are, would sooner get some ribs or a steak or even a quality burger for that sort of money.

i did find a cheap breakfast but it was more egg beans and toast and a tinned sausage, this was next to the flower market, near the christmas shop, 4.50 euros but service was crap and the bloke was very rude as we didnt want the 8 euro brekky. but still filled the gap and saved a few quid! i can imagine the 8 euro brekky wouldnt have been up to stones brekky, which i think is 8.50!
