When Kosher Kush was removed from the menu at 1e Hulp did the girl behind the bar recommend L.A Kush, saying this time it was nicely grown and extra nice. I took 1g of the LA kush, 12€/1g.

This was last month, today I still buy it and consider its the best on their indica menu. Been trying other strains from there but no one tops the LA Kush

I havent tried many indicas from 1e hulp, but their sativa menu is the best in town imo.

Some awesome strains ive tried from there since last week: SSSDH, G13-Amnesia, Somari, Sweet Sour, Pineapple Express.

All of these strains taste so unique, and just from smoking i recognized that very nutrient rich soil has been used.

Katsu Dr. Grinspoon

Birdy - Knetter Weed 25€ for 3.6 gram so 7€ a gram.

Back in Barcelona after spending 4 awesome days in dam. Best weeds right now are Shoreline from GreenPlace and Karat from Voyagers. That shoreline is the best weed i ever had in dam.
That noor 2000 is also lovely stuff.

After much debate our scoring system is based on the premise that a score of 10 is largely unattainable. It can be awarded - but only for a game changer :)

Day 1 (so far)

Voyagers
1g Fromage bleu (€14)
Nose was on the blue end' nothing so special that we can't find similar at home. The taste was better but it didn't surpass the best blue cheese we've sampled. Strong indica style head/body buzz.
R: 7.4
M: 7.5

1g Tangie (€15 I think)
An improvement on the Cali-o that inspired it. Nice slightly confusing high with euphoric little shoulder rushes just the way I like it :) definitely orangey and hashy on the palette. Overall a decent smoke - not up to the hype though.
R: 7.2
M: 7.1

Green Place
2g Shoreline (€15)
Not quite as good as an example full of pinks and purples we got from a local grower at home; which is reflected in the scores - but this has been the standout smoke of the trip so far (we landed at 9:00am it's now 4:22pm). Beautiful, unique notes of burgamot, lavender and rose with a skunk funk behind it.
Clear euphoric awake high - easily cut through the haze of everything before it and coated my mouth with taste for minutes after every pull. Put 99% of the gram in a raw paper and piped the rest. Wonderful if not slightly pricey.
R: 7.4
M: 7.7

1g OG 'reekin (€16)
More pleasant taste than the holy grail we're smoking at home, not wildly better - just sweeter. Nice OG punch that wasn't too heavy - extremely loud flavour. OG fans gonna love that one. Expensive though. Scored down slightly on price.
R: 7.2
M: 7.3

1g Silver bubble (€10)
Disappointing, the standout smoke of our last trip but this one (although cheaper at €10) but this is either a different pheno; it's more on the SSH side rather than the bubblegum vibe of the best this strain can be - in our opinion of course. Hoping greY areas offering will fare better. Scraggly. Nice enough effect - flavour could be MUCH louder. Middle of the road.
R: 4.5
M: 4.6

Solo
New place for us - nice little local shop. We couldn't find utopia so ended up here instead!

1g Hawaiian (€16)
Creamy tropical candy vibe, slightly acrid but with a nice strong heady but clear buzz.
Not our usual choice, pleasantly surprised. Perhaps a poor cure/flush but this is picking at niggles. It's a lovely smoke and only marked down on price.
R: 7
M: 7.3

1g Lemnesia (€15)
Very similar to the Hawaiian. SSH with strong citrus overtones. Stronger citrus vibe than the SLH were smoking at home. Nice clear high. Lovely
R: 7
M: 7.3

1g Gunpowder (€14)
An odd purchase for us, we passed up Lemnesia iso for this just as a contrast. Exactly as expected - this was an unpressed pollen shake with a herby cinnamon smell. Not a strong taste but VERY smooth and a lovely rounded relaxing high. Interesting, overpriced if you're judging on strength. Lacks flavour but has mellow character.
R: 7.1
M: 6.9

Onward and definitely upward :)

Brilliant - glad to be of service :)
Here's this evenings loot...

Grey Area
1g Unpressed Silver Bubble (€25)
Strong. Tasty. Super high. Yesssss. Not melty but not sure I'd expect it to at that price. Approaching good enough to satisfy the very choosy amongst us.
:)
R: 7.8
M: 7.9

1g Exodus Cheese (€13)
Not bad. Not cheesy enough. Nice mellow stone with some head to boot. Decent enough price for this CS
R: 7.1
M: 7.0

1g Silver Bubble (€13ish)
Better than green places. More candy in the nose and taste but much more at the SSH end of the pheno spectrum than the bubblegum end so not quite to our tastes but a solid smoke never the less. Strong enough. Nice clear and up high that cuts through.
R: 7.2
M: 7.25

1g Skywalker (€15/16)
Tastes a lot better than it smells, finishes with notes of headband and OG. Blueberry ish on the nose which makes it seem unremarkable but it surprises. Nice.
R: 7
M: 7.1

Greenhouse (voorburgval)

1g Orange stack (€15 I think)
Surprisingly tasty.first diesel notes of the trip which was nice. Good chunky nugs in the tray which looked enticing. Not too strong. Fair to middle,
M: 6.9
R: 7.0

1g Afgooey (€16)
Not much bag appeal not a great deal of taste. Unremarkable really.
R: 5.5
M:

.63g Lemon cream. (€18p/g)
Excellent. Tasty, creamy. Definite hints of lemon and Moroccan hashy flavours. Not quite strong enough for the money.
R: 7.5
M: 7.6

1g Jungly manali cream (€20)
A very lemony creamy number, similar moroccan process on this one and similar quality to the lemon cream. Very enjoyable indeed. Would buy again for a treat.
R: 7.5
M: 7.6

Silver bubble=haze/northern lights/skunk
No bubblegum in there Bro.

I asked the BT in grey area what the genetics of Silver Bubble are... He's adamant that it's SSHxBubblegum and that's how it appears on their menu...

Which is exactly what the strain tastes like (to me) when it's at it's best...who knows though? As you say everyone else lists the genetics as Nl5 x skunk x haze - I guess we'll never know!

Barney's

1g Cookies Kush (€16)
It tastes like raw yeasty cookie dough! A bit! Notes of Kush and candy too. It'spretty tasty, definitely nice and strong. It's not flushed very well though. At all. Bad show Barney's at this price.
R: 6.9
M: 7.1

1g G13 haze (€15)
Not a bad representation but not up to the standards of yesteryear. Classic taste of another old favourite so it was well enjoyed but again...it's not fucking flushed! Lime' hash - that amnesia savoury velvet spiciness on the exhale. Nice but let down in the end by an acrid finish and being harsh on the throat.
R: 6.8
M: 7.2

1g Laughing Buddha (€14)
An old favourite for me (not so for R my brother) . Really shows its Jamaican x Thai heritage which isn't up to the taste sensations of the newer breeds but does exactly what it says on the tin. Up, giggly high. Lovely morning smoke. It's been better in other years but this an heirloom strain for me so I can't critique it too much :) needs a much better flush, dark ash and slightly acrid harsh taste.... Come on Barney's, at this price I expect better finishing than that. Especially on a 12 week strain... Why bother going that far and fucking it up at the end? Marked down because of this but it still (helped with lemon bubble and silver bubble sift) provided the basis for the tastiest pure fattie of the trip.
R: 6.5
M: 7

1g Dr Grinspoon (€18)
Ok. First time trying this. There's no point judging it on looks or smell. It looks like scraggle and smells like hay. It tastes better, Jamaican almost, vaguely fruity, hazy. The high - I hate to admit at this price, does indeed live up to the hype. Strong. Very strong. Clear headed though - don't be expecting couch lock. I feel really high but super alert. It would make a lovely mixer with something super tasty and complimentary. The BT did a great job of stripping sticks and stems out to his credit.
Judged on effects alone.
R: 7.1
M: 7.25

137

1g big Buddha cheese (€11)
Arguably best value bud of the trip. Great quality on the finish - lovely dense nug with a good trim and nice coating of trich's under the scope. At this price it's a steal. One of the loudest noses and transfer of taste of anything we bought. Nice little shop too - big comfy seats and a versdamper to use that we put the rest of the Grinspoon in :)

R: 7.4
M: 7.4

Baba

1g Kosher Kush (€14ish)
Fly and buy cos utopia was closed (2nd attempt failed), and we failed to find 1ehulp so we panic bought this :D Not a patch on voyagers a couple of years back; it was lacking the signature diesel and lemon notes. A better cure might have helped - it was clearly fresh. Not damp - snappy stems but still.0, a month in the cure box would have gone a long way. Perhaps an extra point even. Pretty strong - the equivalent of a can of special brew. Brutal - unrefined. Commercial.

R: 6.6
M: 6.2

Voyagers

1g Lemon bubble (€13)
Every nice. Bit scraggly so marked down on looks which is always a bit unfair, you might get some lovely fresh fat lady chunks :) so that top notch taste with both parents shining through makes this a little gem - a distinct champagne taste and a lovely clear high. I'd buy it again.

R: 7.3
M: 7.3

1g Testing Tuesday's (€10)
Hmmmmm. We guessed at a Tangie/kushy/chocolope cross. Hints of candy and marshmallow. Nice smoke for the price so earns some plus points there. They wouldn't tell us what it was :)

R: 7
M: 7.2

Bluebird

0.8g super isolator melt madness. (€50)
Shit name. Full melty goodness. Hashy bubbly floral finish with a kick you in the face high that mellows into an intense relaxing contented body high experience. Easily the best thing we've bought so far. Well worth the money. So so very very high but totally clear and instantly awake. Beautiful. Could taste more like the material it's made with if I were nit picking - the hashy taste overpowering. But still. Wow.

R: 8.1
M: 8.2

1g strawberry diesel (€12.50)
Nice example. Showing her red Colombian roots well and capturing the signature notes with a nice subtle hint of strawberry fruitella. Not dieselly enough for us but decent enough for the price. Can't judge the high right now - totally wasted from the super iso :)

R: 7.1
M: 6.9

1g Lime (€12.50)
Great bag appeal, lime sherbet sorbet smell - lovely little nug. Reminiscent of g13 but different enough to separate the two. More cotton candy than grapefruity diesel. Again - can't judge the high too well at the mo. Think I'll get another bag of that melt madness... :D

R: 7.3
M: 7.3

1g Sputnik (€12.50)
Decent quality black Moroccan hash with a nice floral taste and and a warm fluffy mellow high.
Had to wait a while to confirm this fact :)
