Everybody who was on the road is moving to one of those... And bitcoins prices stabilized, I've read SR transaction were only half a percent of all btc transactions... Silkroad was a big deal but don't think nothing will be the new one

Bitcoins have held the value well considering the apparent biggest grossing BTC site was just taken. I was trading on the exchanges last night and it was great fun :)

if you had 10BTC, sold at 100, then bought back at 80, you would have made over 2 bitcoin profit from a few simple market trades. Bitcoin will survive, silkroad is just a website with an idea, this idea will be copied and already has been copied.

I think Grunts comment was more to do with the fact that I imagine (maybe wrongly so) that it is now next to impossible to removed BTC from your SR wallet, as the site is down.
