I used to ride road bikes thru town, always had one or other with nice thick tires (cyclocross) in winter but I gave it up last yr after losing yet another frame. Been riding on beaters since, which is a bit depressing you may find something suitable on marktplaats.nl , that's how I found most of my 2nd hand bikes/bike parts
Tram and bus aren't too bad, they used to be noisy cramped rammelbakken (especially the trams) but is better now, the chipcard system is actually OK too

You could chain it to my ex girlfriend she never moved
Lost a rental once. It could have been stolen but more likely I just forgot where I parked it. The 150 euros it cost. That was definite enough though. Taught me a lesson about finding appropriate 'landmark' parking places.
Or take Bus 18 from Hugo de Grootplein and you'll be next to Boerejongens/Bij,check: http://goo.gl/maps/Zwsw7
meh, i go over there when i am REALLY lazy, but nothing is ever anything worth going back for. nothing wrong with the place or the bud, it is jsut average and if i want a quick 11e gram of haze then i go there, but this does not happen often.
I ended up walking to johnny and buying 1g chocolope, the budget would not allow for public transport to be included in the price of my gram, otherwise i might have been tempted to goto BJ's, although i don't like using public transport.
They must find it difficult, those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority
