Parking

Hi mates
Does anybody know where I can park a car for free after 19 or 21 o'clock?
In day I will use 'P+R parking' its the best way I think, 24 hours for 8€ and 5 tickets to metro/bus extra.
I read somewhere I can park my car near town centre for free after 7pm to 7am, is it true?
Cos, in the first day I will come to Amsterdam about 8pm and I dont want lose time to park 7kilometres from
centre, then go by train at tonight. You know what I mean?
