Six Days in my favorite City

Hello, fellow Stoners,

I made it. Lost almost 40kg in the last Year. Hope I don't find those again. To celebrate I've planned a six day stay in my favorite City.

Got a room at the WestCord Art Hotel on Spaarndammerdijk. Three Stars and it's got an elevator. I hate those Stairs wenn I'm stoned.

Is there a meet and smoke somewhere where I'd be welcome? Usually I walk through Amsterdam alone when I'm there. And I'm getting fed up with that. This time I want to meet some of my fellow stoners. I'm used to smoking alone here in Vienna. Because I just don't know anybody else here who smokes. Guess that's a symptom of the Weed-Prohibition.

We have a Hemp-Convention here this weekend, the "Cultiva". I'll be there on Sunday to maybe meet other Stoners here in Vienna. I'll try, but I doubt it. I'm not very good at meeting new people.

Anyway, I want to try and find a good Vape there. Maybe the Solo or one of the butane-powered devices Whispr or Iolite. I have a Magic Flight and it's good and works and all, but when I've already got some smoke in me I find it difficult to concentrate on the right way to use it. So I'm looking for something portable that's easier to use. And it has to be portable because I can't smoke at home.(The reason for that is called Helen and hates the sight, sound and smell of Weed)

Because my wife does not smoke I'll be traveling without her and my beloved pudel. I'll be 52 come December and speak German and English. (And I'm not so fat anymore ) If it's important, my interests are Computerprogramming (My Job), Computergames, theoretical physics, roman history and weed. I also love Country Music. Of all those I'm really good at the just the first. But still, it's lots of fun for me to dream about space, time and dimensions when I'm stoned. I get some good ideas then; or at least they seem good at the time .

So if anybody is out there.......

Congrats on the weight loss! I've been trying to loss a few pounds before my upcoming trip without much luck.... Its so hard to change your eating habit and I commend you....

Enjoy your smoking freedom in Amsterdam ..... Your home smoke life sounds like mine, wife hates the smell and thought of smoking pot in my house as well ..... So, this is why I try to hit up AMS each year for some smoking freedom....

Sorry, I didn't say the dates. My Bad. I'm going to be from the 1st to the 6th of November in that beautiful City.

@cjcar: Thank you. That with the eating habits is very much true. If i don't watch myself i can still eat enough for a week in a day just watching tv or gta on the computer. Some of the blame must also go to my smoking though. When i get the munchies i can eat for two hours straight without really realizing what i'm stuffing into myself. That's gonna be a problem for the rest of my smoking-life.

"I asked Life what the fuck. Life said that's the way it is. Deal with it." And i'm trying. The only other alternative is to stop smoking. And i'm not quite ready for a mercy-killing yet

@ TwoCanucks: Oh yeah. I usually walk alot through the city. when i smoke sativas i get my automatic feet. i come out of a coffeeshop, head in any direction and just keep going. Sometimes for two or three hours straight. The result more often than not was an open toe or two. A 140kg body just isn't made for walking-marathons. Now with less weight i'm hoping that will stop.

Im just like you, needed to lose 150 lbs, lost the first 80 in 16 months, now another 70 lbs to go. Im still fat, but healthier and happier, and fighting the munchies off on a daily basis. Keep er real, and keep loving being high.

Just bought myself a couple of new shirts, t-shirts etc. I can finally go the normal stores and not the ones for fat people where they charge you twice what others pay.

That with the munchies is a bitch. What do you do to fight them? Ever thought about quitting smoking? I have. But i don't want to because i just love to be high. It's also the only thing i do for relaxation. When i come from work in the evening a nice mfl bowl is just what i need to forget work. All the strain, hassle and worries of work just flow from my body like dirt in a good hot shower.

Thought about quitting or breaking for a bit, but i love it too much. Ice water for munchies sometimes works, but ultimately its about will power. Lol, clothes, yup, had to buy new pants a couple times, down 6-7 inches on the waist. Golf is my new addiction, played 50 rounds this year.

@TwoCanucks: Jeah, pants too. Loosing weight costs Money. And not just once, but several times. I bought new pants three times the last year. I could almost open a Boutique.

On another thought. I was at the Cultiva today. There i had the DaVinci Ascent in my hot little hands for the first time. Nice. A little bigger than I thought. Maybe the guy in the video i saw just had big hands. A good looking thing though. Not for sale yet, the guy behind the counter said that they had problems at the factory with the quality control. Not quite as stealthy as the MFL because bigger.

The same guy also had the new Puffit X. I bought one about 4 Months ago. Never worked right. It's been sitting im my closet since then. I tould him about it and he said that the new unit had a small fan in it. I heard it. Makes a low whine. Not too loud, but in a quiet environment noticable. They also made holes in the ring around the bud-chamber on the top to increase air-flow.

Didn't buy the thing. Want to google first. Won't get burned twice. As as stealthy device it looks great. If only if would work.
