RIP Lou Reed
Just heard the new that Lou Reed died today. What a man, What a life. Had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Lou last month for the launch of his Transformer book launch. I'm devastated by the news. An icon of our time. Deepest sympathy to his wife Laurie Anderson.

...and the band plays on
In 1973, I heard Velvet Underground's "Sweet Jane" for the first time, which was also the year of my awakening.
Enjoy your "Walk on the Wild Side" Lou... RIP

Lol such a good headline. A bit like the fabled sun headline for when desmond tutu dies. It will read 'Tata Tutu'
