I can deal with a couple of photographs or a short documentary on mutant babies and organs but being surrounded by them in a small space, seems a bit much. Tho it does sound fascinating from the website.

Re: vrolik museum
from the science point of view it is interesting, the humanitarian in me takes over i guess. I have only ever seen 5-6 dead people in my lifetime, friends and family, to see that many dead babies was disturbing. It brought about the typical human questioning, who, what, where and why?
Oh how it would be easier to be a Volcun and not have to deal with our irrational emotions.....

Deformities, illnesses and our fragile organic bodies are fascinating but I'll just stick to Cronenberg films, I too am not detached enough for this type of science. Typical human questioning would turn into existential crisis
My brother was stillborn, I wonder how I'd feel about it if he were put up there.

Vrolik museum is one of the most famous museum all over the world. That was established at the end of the 18th C. It has medical collection of pathological specimens, anomalous embryos, odd skulls and bones that is used until today by the Faculty of Medicine students of the University of Amsterdam.
