...I don't like noose-type objects around my neck when riding a bike.
Helmets fail, and applying practical reasoning, the invisible bike helmet (IBH) will have failures as well.
Although I wouldn't describe the IBH as a full replacement for a hard helmet, yet, it does seem to be well suited for supplemental impact protection.

Its pretty awesome. Wonder how they figured out the tech for the helmet sensor to differentiate between a collision impact and someone doing offtrails. Wild shit.

Sorry man, a good one...
Can you imagine how many of these things would be needed just for one rider for one day of riding?
Every time a rider has a spill, the damn things will activate. Not only that, but the riders will have to carry spares to replace the activated ones, or walk.
At this stage, it's supplemental protection at best...
...serious hanging potential, especially if falsely activated.
