Try guiding the dreams, take control of them. If you are able to realize you are dreaming while your dreaming, you have the first step. three nights now of no terrible evil things, just mad bonkers situations that evolve (and evolve and evolve ad nauseum), eg trying to find the perfect tree hut in nepal, starting a gay beach next to a homophobic cafe (my girlfriend loved that one, thought it was hilarious), turning my old school into a huge grow tent etc but the main point that im delighted to report is they appear to be far less traumatic, and all with crystal clear recall, still, even some days later..
then I read your article link, and bearing in mind the other thing I am combating, but getting used to now, is sleep which lasts only for bursts, maybe an hour or two at a time, sometimes longer, sometimes less, which tallies completely with the comment in that article..

- yep, in other words the deeper the sleep and the longer the sleep, the less the recall, and vice versa..
so you would say if I understand it right that is a kind of a positive then I suppose in a way, having spent years (decades actually) dulled and knocked out with almost zero dream recall..
anyway very interesting, and at least I dont feel like i should be seeing a shrink...
