Agree. I have been to DAM 8 times. If you know the coffee shop scene, you know that service is not the best, at any coffee shop, specially if you dont speak Dutch or fluent english like me. I have no problems with budtenders if they dont smile or if they are not gentle with me. Come on people you must be more self confident and dont bother with their sad behavior. I'm there to buy weed. My research I do here in the forum, so I have never to ask them about the stuff.
And Hunters allways delivered good weed. Dont allow the bad experience with the budtender confuse your review of the weed they sell.
Next Jun I'll be there to say goodbye to coffeeshops (if the weed pass come to reality)
But if I do speak Dutch, make an effort to speak it politely, and you can get equally good, or better weed from other shops in town where you'll receive a smile and a hello, then why would you go to a place where some ogre grunts at you and THROWS your money back at you?
yeh you are right... but I really like their weed.
Just got back from Dam last night and Hunters has gone downhill in my opinion from when i last visited summer 2011. Budtender was an idiot,his attitude was bad but more than that his knowledge of different strains was terrible, I asked about there La confidential * g13 haze, he didn't even answer me and kept referring me to the candy kush which was the most pricey thing on the menu. I explained to him I no my shit but he still kept trying to talk me into expensive purchases and when I settled on a bud that wasn't his recommendation he got pissed off. I got Chemical Dawg I believe, smelled sour and fruity but full of stalks and left abit of a weed aftertaste, not what I was expecting for 12 euro/g. Defo sticking with Voyagers for my shop near central station

If Hunters had the best weed in Amsterdam this guy might get away with his soup nazi act....
go the coin, its still hunters but smaller abit quieter and the dark haired guy who works in there is safe as fcuk... and even rememberd our faces! weeds decent, some can be not so good but mostly nice

Was in tuesday night , dealer is miserable but most are, although he did chat does not seem to know much again pushed the candy kush, fuck that 18euros a g. Went for the kushadelic wish i hadnt throat burner with little effect.
over heard him telling a customer that a particular type of weed was strong because of the smell. Ha.......... cant believe people think because a weed smells nice its going to be strong.
Despite my previous tirade, I ended up going here a couple of times because it's less than 20 metres from a place I was crashing at, and in the morning around 8-ish it was the only coffeeshop open. Didn't have the asshole budtender this time, but unfortunately they weren't willing to do a deal of two half-grams in the morning (didn't want to spend much money). The previous night I was quite drunk, had just arrived in the Dam and it was the first coffeeshop we hit, so I bought a gram each of Trainwreck and Chemdawg. The Trainwreck is good, but the Chemdawg is REALLY good. Not sure if it's worth the 13 (13.5?) euro price tag, but it is some dankalicious bud.
This morning I got a gram (which I weighed out myself to be 0.97, but that's not a huge ripoff margin, and who knows - maybe my scale is off, it wasn't that expensive) of Blue Cheese, which was good. I've never been disappointed by a Blue Cheese though; it always seems to deliver, wherever I buy it.
I was at hunters back in august 2011 and the quality of the nevilles haze and big buddha cheese was second to none.
The only problem i have with the dealer is he was the biggest bud pusher iv ever seen, i asked for 2 grams on more than one occasion and he'd turn around put some buds on the scale and say is 3-4 grams ok, when i said no he just starred at me and threw my change on the counter.
the same thing happend with me in november 2010 i asked for two grams of Ah. he said 2.9 ok. after he had baged it up. fuck him and his rare ways. plenty of other shops to buy better herb.
