This was the very first coffeeshop I ever visited and still visit on my journeys around the city. Always found the staff at Hunters very helpful and never had a problem with their weed. Nice big menu with a good variety to choose from. G13xAmnesia is only 12 euro here I havent seen it cheaper anywhere else and it is very good quality.

What a difference a few months make! I praised this place a few weeks ago but I was in Amsterdam over the last few days and I wasnt impressed with Hunters. The weed wasnt flushed properly and what was in the tubs was rubbish. Would have struggled to find a decent nug in them. I then purchased a pre rolled joint of Crystal Lady (PURE) as I quit smoking cigarettes and cant stand tobacco anymore but to my surprise I was smoking on a joint of crap weed mixed with tobacco. I will visit here again next time but if it hasnt improved I wont be back. This place was booming a few years ago but now its dead.

after a very exhausting day in amsterdam, we went into the coffeeshop to have a last little joint before goinig back to the station. We bought 1g "buddha sister" and smoked it there. nice indica. we listened to nice dubstep music and enjoyed the atmosphere inside.
while our next trip to amsterdam, we visited hunters II. inside, we smoked a pre-rolled amnesia, white widow and red bud" joint. very nice  all in one, the hunters coffeeshops are recommend. the staff was friendly, the quality of the weed and the prizes acceptable.

The weed was alright, maybe a little expensive.

Staff were friendly. The music, however, was abysmal. All beepy bloopy bollox, I dunno if its called trance or drum and bass or dub step. I do know it gives me a headache pretty quickly!

Nice super place to drink glass, with assured environment. Now is necessary to like this environment;)

For weeds, the packages are already to prepare and seldom quality.
One finds much better in Amsterdam

I agree. When I'm in the Dam I usually stop off here on my way to Chinatown for a bite to eat. The place has gone down hil a lot and I found the guy who was selling the bud somewhat of an arrogant areshole.

Not a big fan of Hunters, although I love the Dog logo. Never had really good weed there and found the vibe and staff not really to my liking. Of course, it also could be just bad timing on my part. I visited the shop only about 4 times between 2010-2012. I didn't bother stopping in during my visit last month.

One cold November early evening a couple of years ago I stopped at Hunters on my way back to the hotel. The BT was a really friendly dutch woman who was chatting to her dutch friend (in English - why do they do that?!?) while she was serving me. I was fairly stoned already anyway so wasnt really listening to them - I was more interested in keeping my eye on the scales when she was weighing it out

Anyway I grabbed a hot chocolate and a seat, skinned up and looking round I realised I was actually the only person in there. Then as I tuned out a bit more and my perspective shifted ( :D ) I caught a snatch of the BT's conversation in which she was telling her mate how her boyfriend always insists on shoving a large dildo in her arse during sex. Her mate shot her a black look and said something in dutch which clearly translated to "That guy can probably hear you, keep your voice down".... at which point the BT looked over at me battered to fuck, laughed in that way that only women can, and said in English: "As if that guy is even gonna remember any of this."

Ha, guess I did 8)
