the size of a picture in mb or kb relates to the number of different shades of a colour can be used in the picture, the more colours the bigger the size of the file
the size in pixels is the key
set the camera resolution to 800x600 pixels before taking any pictures and things will be fine
and thanks for wanting to get this right, i find travelogues difficult to read too when the pictures are too big

ive only tried photos that are already on my computer , but atleast i know nowif im taking snaps to put on the forum , i know what settings to use
