the biggest size that fits comfortably on most computer screens is 800x600, ie 800 pixels in width and 600 pixels in height

the size of a picture in mb or kb relates to the number of different shades of a colour can be used in the picture, the more colours the bigger the size of the file

the size in pixels is the key

set the camera resolution to 800x600 pixels before taking any pictures and things will be fine

and thanks for wanting to get this right, i find travelogues difficult to read too when the pictures are too big

Thanks SS67 i knew it was one o they terms ive only tried photos that are already on my computer , but atleast i know nowif im taking snaps to put on the forum , i know what settings to use thanks again
