Americans: Unabomber, Tim Mcvie and Vernon Wayne Howell (later renamed David Koresh) of the infamous Davidians of Waco.
Every country has some pretty gnarly radicals. If they want guns they will get them. My only problem is that having them legal for some still makes it much, much easier to get for those who shouldn't have them. I don't think there is any question about this.
I personally don't see a need for handguns and semi autos. If the Redcoats come knocking at my door, I guess I'm wrong.

Are you seriously worried about being attacked by England?geoffk wrote:Americans: Unabomber, Tim Mcvie and Vernon Wayne Howell (later renamed David Koresh) of the infamous Davidians of Waco.

What no one seems to understand is this. If we ban them now it will make no difference in our lifetime. It will make no difference in our childrens or grandchildrens lifetime. But it might make a difference 100 years from now. Everyday another 40,000 hand guns are produced in the USA alone. EVERYDAY... So if we wait another 20 years, well, you can do the math. The rest of the civilized world did this many years ago and already feel the impact with much lower crime by hand gun. So I can only hope that my great great great grandchildren will not be shot while attending high school or college if we act NOW... If you must protect yourself, learn karate or buy a bat. I have no need for either as no one wants to kill me here. And they don't have guns even if they did, lol..

Bloomin redcoats!.....Though I did like Butlins.
So, I wanna fluffy bunny. There's 2 ways I can get one. I can buy it from the fluffy bunny store, but I need a fluffy bunny license. I could also buy it from a black market fluffy bunny dealer, but I only need to do that if I intend to rob a carrot shop. Thinkin this might come in handy if I own a fluffy bunny, I go to the fluffy bunny dealer to buy a fluffy bunny. What do I get?. Only a frikkin fluffy bunny that has been stolen from a guy that had a fluffy bunny license and bought it from a fluffy bunny store!!!.
The moral of the story is, if fluffy bunnies were illegal and you couldn't get them from a fluffy bunny store. That dude wouldn't have had his fluffy bunny stolen and then sold on to me....1 less fluffy bunny to worry about. No legal fluffy bunny stores means the fluffy bunny police can conentrate on the fluffy bunny dealers which in turn means a few more less fluffy bunnies to worry about. If the number of fluffy bunnies off the market was only 1....that's still a result.

How many does china make?
You know what I would rather take my chances than give up my gun.
Also I guess that I am not honorable enough to take it in the ass for the next generation. If you take guns away from citizens then only criminals will have them and worse yet they will know that you do not.
Perhaps with no fluffy bunny store we blow ourselves off of the same Continent with Mexico we will let Canada stay they do not transport weapons here. Then we collect all of the millions of weapons already out there then well buy the world a toke and the world will be perfect.
I personally Know that that will never happen so if the gov wants my guns they can pry them out of my cold dead hands. The uni bomber used no guns and the Dravidian's at Waco did not either.
And if the Cho asshole could not have gotten one legally I'll bet in the amount of time that he planned he would have gotten one some where else. Hell if the dumb ass would have went to the local gang he could have gotten a cheaper weapon that would have been fully auto and not traceable.

love 420 gold and anything outdoors!
yeah, right... facts are no good to some people
Where you can get a gun on any corner:
United States death rate by firearms 14.24/100,000 people;
Where you can't get a gun on any corner:
Netherlands death rate by firearms 0.70/100,000 people.
Yeah, that's right, less than 1 death by firearms per 100,000 people.

Look. Everything in life is about power. From flowers spreading their seeds to terrorists beheading innocents. The feeling of power consumes all of us.
I have felt that power and it comes from the barrel of a gun. I remember the firt time I held a gun. I felt like a man for the first time. I was 6. My daddy's shotgun for hunting in the Lake District. I walked tall that day and have continued to do so and I believe thats because human beings have a fundamental right to own a gun.
Life is abouting protecting the species. I happen to be that species therefore it is my god given right to have something that can protect me and my family.
