Hello, My name is Snoopy and I am the biggest 90 lb wus in the neighborhood.
Notice how I don't even look at my own shadow, it might scare me.

I thought the same thing rufus after I lost my cosmo dog but a few months later for my birthday I went to a kill shelter to save a dog and now I have the best dog again. you never forget your animals but there are plenty more to love out there. My latest dog is named Pearl after janis joplin :)

Couldn't agree more cattales, I have been tempted so many times but the problem I have is if I go to a pound I would leave with every dog as I would want to save them all. Next best thing I do now is sponsor two that cannot be re-homed due to health problems.

Nothing worse than losing a pet you love, my last dog brandy was rescue and had him 14yrs, he was a collie but they lassie type and he was unique becaus he was black and tan, he had a stroke and I tried keeping him going for over 2yr paying for steroids but after a siezure I had to make that decision to let him go, there is nothing worse especially when he's your best friend and you've had him longer than your children, I'll never forget that day or time or the way he lifted his head and winked at me as the vet sent him over rainbow bridge :(
The only way I could cope was to get rocco and I do say if your going to get another dog then do it straight away and within 14days I found rocco, visited him and agreed to rescue him, the only one regret I have is not taking pictures of brandy :?

Hell yeah without a shadow of a doubt, that's unthinkable but when you also have a pet that long especially 14years they themselves become a member of the family, I was shocked at the mess I got in over it and even said after he crossed the bridge id never ever get like that over a dog again but emotions are sometimes outwith ones control and losing someone or something you love has strange affects on some people. But yeah I agree with what you say.
