A sad day today!
This is a picture of my cat Suki taken this morning before she went to the vet to be put to sleep. She had major health issues and her kidneys were failing. It was a difficult decision but it was the most humane way to end her suffering.
For 17 years this little cat had been my faithful shadow, her nickname was "Suzuki Sue" because she purred like a motorcycle engine................... She would have been a good coffeeshop cat on account of her cuddly nature and her tendency to fall asleep anywhere comfortable.
God rest her soul.

Another sad day today!
This is a picture of my other cat Lucy (daughter of Suki) taken this morning before she went to the vet to be put to sleep, almost 2 weeks after her mommy cat was euthanized. She couldn't fight the infection any longer from an injury that would not heal. The 2nd time in less than 2 weeks was not an easier.
She was a pretty but daft cat
and often reclusive but very playful 
, part cat part teddybear, often my sparring partner.
We had a great 16 years together. RIP
