The high is quite a high feeling, rather than a "stoned" "i cant move" feeling. Its just really clean if you know what i mean. its Got a spicey almost peppery taste. it goes great with Sage and Sour Diesel from the BlueBird in a spliff. when you hold then burning spliff near your ear (be careful not to get too close) you can hear it sizzle and bubble. Try some you may like it. Im more of a weed person than a hash person myself, but the old Temple Ball from Stix (the one on korte konningstraat is my fav) is always one of the first things i purchase in 'Dam.

Thanks Axeman, being a Yorkshireman too I will most definitley heed your recommendation, it'll be on my shopping list from Stix come my trip in March. Can't wait.

i'm sure it's been said but get out to the indica in haarlem. was there a few weeks ago and a mate of mine was going out of his way to find good temple ball to bring home. the stuff at indica knocked his other temple ball samples into a very poor second place. a bloody sight cheaper as well when you consider there are discounts on larger purchases.
also you may get to meet up with mhd at the indica. he is a fucking good man.

Oh Yeah! Sorry, the Temple Ball in ANY of the Willie Wortels chain in Haarlem is also excellent, good value too.... If they still do that "spend 50euros and get 12.50 free"

Sorry Mile high. I'll be popping in this Sunday anyway. Haarlem is an awesome town. i kinda prefer it to 'Dam in a way.

P.S Is the Lavender Haze still available?

Ha, no worries, lol.. Yes to the discount, and yes to the Haze. Everyone is raving the new batch of Sticky Fingers at 8 E a gram too.

the temple balls from the WW Indica is top class!

Temple Ball from Stix is the only 'dam smoke I've had... my friend brought some back, does so each year... it's his favourite smoke (we're both bigger fans of hash than we are weed) and I have to say... bubbly, melty, smokey goodness... very thick smoke plooms from a J, heavy smoke at that... lingers a long time!

Excellent stoned... we shared a couple of Js and I walked back to my flat from his on a sunny day (in glasgow, we don't get too many of those), had to park my ass on a wall 'cause my legs turned to jelly in the heat... or at least that's how it felt...

Myself and the better half fly out inna few weeks - temple ball is a high priority for me... we're staying in Greenhouse Effect Hotel, they sell it ... anyone got any reports? I don't expect it to be as good as Stix from what I've read, but has anyone tried it from there?

Also any recommendations as to something similar would be great - thanks in advance

never heard about the g.e's temple balls so it could be worth a try. Best to ask to see the chunk that the dealer cuts from to see whether its part of a ball or not.

Willie wortels temple balls in haarlem are great, and they come from a ball cos the dealer let me have a feel and smell of it.

also try some top range rifman morocoan hash from de tweede kamer or de dampkring. Also if you can find a good dark afghaani they are roughly similar to temple balls. But many afghaani's hashs tend to be cheaper and not super duper quality.

The Tball from the Ghouse effect is NOT the same as Stix im afraid. I checked both out last week. And the quality was not the same .

Super Afghan from the grey area is also very potent, its quite expensive at 12.5perg

Also "Charras" is quality too. i got some of this from Willie Wortels in NOV

tried out the temple ball at hunters, ww sativa, amnesia and stix.

ww had the best one.. they had a huge chunk of it at the shop! very nice and soft and very nice taste.

While on the subject on dark hashes...

What's a good black hash that literally melts when heated... ?
Y'know the sort, put a bit on a pin and when you add flame it turns almost into liquid?

Maybe being a bit naive but I didn't think all black hashes did that...

Feel free to correct me though!
