As DrG says, WW Sativa isn't in Amsterdam, it's in Haarlem. It's a short train ride and the coffeeshop is very near the railway station in Haarlem.

temple ball

Post by hilian2 »

thx for the info,
I'm saving Haarlem for next years trip as I heard its only a short hop on the train.
Call me naive  , but before I came on the ACD forum, I thought the Dam was the only place with coffeeshops. Probably coz its the famous place for it.
Still I've taken on board what you lovely people have said about the best place for the temple ball (mmmmm I can taste it already), and those venues are on our (long) list of must visit shops :D

Still on the Temple Ball theme. Has anyone seen the movie Scrapple? The main character is trying to score some Temple Ball so he can sell it and move his brother into a house. It's pretty damn funny, especially if you can relate to small mountain towns.

Temple Ball

Post by hilian2 »

Finally found some in Stix upon reccommendations on here.
We were warned by a bud tender in another shop that it wasn't going to be as strong as the older stuff from years back but undeterred We bought some1g for E12.50
It had a cool calming floaty effect on me and got me dribbling and staring into space in no time
well worth the wait :D

I thought that "real" temple ball was part opium.
No it's the black bombay

I am a regular at the Stix, and I enjoy the temple ball they carry. But, I also recently tried the Golden Temple Ball from Coffeeshop Old Amsterdam and I must say it packed a healthy punch. A bit more expensive, but very delectable.
