It is BS -he is even by-passing a legislative vote (after saying for years that he will NEVER approve any form of marijuana legalization) he is just signing it into law himself, like a great benefactor...he is up for re-election....

I am a born and bred new yorker and i see nothing positive in cuomo's rhetoric - ESPECIALLY now that he decided NOT to bother with decriminalization. You are aware of course that NY busts and jails more pot smokers than any other state in the union… and will continue to..

Thanks. I read there has been a watered down law on the books permitting certain medical use, but again no workable production or distribution component.

Prolly get a troll shout down again but sue me if I remain encouraged by the development. At least its on the agenda and where there is $ potential there is hope with our lot of pols.
