Day 1

Early train to the airport and Easyjet flight went smoothly.

Bags in lockers – first time -should have done that before, I have spent many a first day dragging around a big lump of luggage in a stoned mess. It was liberating to be able to walk freely :) Grabbed tram passes then wandered down to

Anyday – friendly short lady – all indica strains on the menu, weird?
2g Reserva X E14.50/g – no pic- nice clean Moroccan hash – over priced but nice.
0.5g Skywalker OG E8 –no pic- only small pieces, but it looked caked it crystals so I got 1/2g. Was Ok, not worth the price.

Hurry on to

Betty Boop – with wide eager eyes we looked at the menu, my friend asked to see the top 6 strains – the bud tender said she this isn’t a museum with a smile and whipped out the tubs. My mate was charged E0.50 per half gram for buying half grams, is that normal here? I cant believe it closes in July – there hash was top notch this trip.
1g Gandalf OG E14 – my friend enjoyed this, I had a taste but cant remember smoking it.
Image
Image
0.5g So G Kush E7.50 – no pic - cant remember
0.5g Somaui E7.50 – no pic - nice diesely flavour but nothing amazing.
1g Kiefin E15 -This is why I cant remember! thanks for those on here that recommend this! I had a look at the Jbel Tidghine and then she got out a gram of Kiefin which is 10g of the Jbel concentrated. Like Marok21 posted – it turns to oil when heated. Strong heavy hashy flavour and strong buzz. Superb!

Image
1g Charas E15 –The dealer opened the chunk of this with ease to reveal a glistering trichrome covered landscape. Its a rich creamy smoke – rich sort of leathery taste and a happy/active sativa buzz. One of the best black hashes I've smoked. Thanks to Alpen Rock for the recommendation.

Utopia – smoked a kiefen zoot that had me flying!
0.5g Sour Diesel ice E20 – no wiet jumped out at me(was hoping for some citral) so I grabbed this to smoke later.
Image
0.5g Sour Secret E6.50 – no pic – cant remember smoking
0.5g Ice Cream E6.50 – bit cheesey tasting.
Image

Voyagers
Image
1g Kosher Kush E15 – YUM & YUM. Kosher goodness :D
Image
Image
1g Notorious OG E15 – MORE YUM YUM; pine and fuel, not over powering taste but left a lovely tang on your tongue. Nice sedated stone. More please.
Image
Image
1g Lemon Bio Haze E12 – really fresh nostril piercing lemon smell, transferred nicely to taste.
Image
Image
1g Kaligria E13- smelt a bit like old socks. My mate enjoyed it as his morning smoke.
Image

Green Place – Rolexx OG smelt earthy but with no funk.
1g Shoreline E14 – this definitively did have the FUNK! Really pungent pineapple smell (could smell the tub open at the back of the que) that transferred to the taste. YUM! But the ash was a bit black and wasn’t the strongest high.
Image
Image
Image
0.5g LA con E8 – Was my favourite smoke last trip from voyagers, this was batcgh was nice, but nothing on Voyagers.
Image
1g Twizzla E13 – nice smooth creamy smoke.
Image
Image
Image
0.5g Alien Technology E7 – no pic -
0.5g Strawberry Sour Diesel E7 – no pic – my mate who got these said they were both nice.

Back to CS to get bags from lockers, get the number 1 tram, hop off at Spui, pop up to Broodje Bert for two BLT's and an Beef & Old Amsterdam Cheese sandwiches (apple cake sold out) then back to the 1 to Overtoomsesluis. http://www.amsterdamstay.com/apartments ... nt/21.html

Met by woman who showed us around, ate sandwiches

Went to the Albert Heijn under Hotel Abba for general supplies for the next 4 nights/5days and then back to the the apartment.

One of my friends made some food for himself then out to

Pancake Carousel
Image
Cheese and Ham Pancake & Carousel Poffertjes – yummy as ever
Image
Image

Bushdoctor – slightly pushy Italian service, kept recommending the E100/g ices but I kept saying I prefer traditional Marroc's.
1g Bab Beard E15 – Looks like brown sugar, a bit of heat and its sticky and soft (I prefer like these kinds of marroc). Nice floral taste, uppy buzz.
Image
Image
Image
1g Malana Cream E18 – it was nice, not as good as last time – I could feel lots of grains when rolling snakes – before it was smooth as silk.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
1g Aslama E25 – cant remember this one. The soft gooey black marrocs were heavy on the chest and made my eyes close quickly. :)
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
1g Ayzila E20 - another bid of moroccan goodness!
Image
Image
Image
1g Marocc Cheese o lator E25 – dont remember much but it knocked me the fuck out :)

Tram down to
Image

De Graal – young Scandinavian looking dealer (didn’t see any of the old french lot this trip) Still the best shop, great vibe and music.
1g Cream E14 –Not too pressed, bubbled with little heat and VERY LEKKER!!! Great fresh piney/resin taste and great buzzy high. Would be my everyday smoke if i was there longer. Heaven in a spliff. :)
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
1g High Rise Haze E13 – yummy hazey goodness, not too moist, nice and sticky. Lovley smoke.
Image
Image
0.5g Mexican Haze E8.50 (E17/g!) - smoked this the following morning.
Image
1g Berry Diesel E12 – looked great, had a nice complex smell – taste wasn’t what it could have been.
Image
Image

Boerjongens Bij – one of my mates went here and grabbed the following (they all smelt kinda similar – nice and hazey except the og which is a steal for E10.
0.5g Choco G13 – no pic
0.5g SSH G13
Image
1g OG Kush
Image
1g G13 Haze

1g Amazing Haze

Day 2 - Christmas eve

My mate with the Boer/Bij stash from day 1 went to Rotterdam for the day – went to Grey Area first but it was closed. So he got 1g of NYCD from Amnesia and 1g Lemon Bubble from Voyagers before getting the train at 1pm. He got back after midnight when we were watching a film.

I smoked the Mexican Haze and had the most productive 4hours in any of my trips to Amsterdam. :D

Started off with a bacon sandwich and some boiled eggs.
Image
Image

Made a list of things to get and headed out-

First stop PC Dokter on Overtoom for a HDMI lead (E5) to plug my laptop into the TV to watch films/football (we found BBC1 &BBC2 on the cable box for MOTD on Boxing day)

Walked up Jan Pieter Heijestraat and right onto Kinkerstraat –

Found a cookery shop full of pots and pans – the very helpful shop clerk showed us a Steel Yorkshire pudding tray for E20+, but in the end found a plastic one at the bottom of a cupboard for E2! Result!

Kema – busy, large selection – asked one of the guys in the back if they had beef rib on the bone. Produced the long rib bone with no meat!

Kept walking, Ten Katemarkt – found an Arab butcher with a shoulder of lamb (but they had taken the bone out) which were said we would come back to if we didn’t find anything else. Wouldn’t be very Christmas-y.
Image

Tram over to Weteringcircuit and then walked up Vijzelgracht to

Holtkamp –BUSY! The cue was about 10-15 people outside and was RAMMED inside. While waiting outside in the rain a baker came out with a tray full of hot chocolates and little sweet pastries! Nice touch and the hot chocolate made all the others I had taste of water. After cuing for 20mins or so I ordered a tarte tatin, 4 frozen veal croquettes and a slice of lemon meringue pie. Eclair was sold out :(
Image
Image
Image

Tram up to Dam Sq

Blue awning Butcher on Singel– no beef on the bone here but they did have some veal but it was E50 per kg. Ask what time they closed then on to:

Anyday – the same local who was shouting 'there is nothing left for you tourists' in dutch as he ran into the shop a few trips ago was outside again. :)
Image
1g Champagne Haze E14 – The lady said yesterday they were getting it soon yesterday and the tub was indeed full. A tiny bit to moist but a good batch, should have got more.
Image
Image
Image

Walking down past all the stalls on Damrak – spotted 'chocolate tools'
Image
Image

Kept walking
Image

Voyagers – I asked Gabby for the biggest bud of each of the top strains for my xmas smoke.
Image
3.2g Kosher Kush- repeat purchase
1.6g Notorious OG- repeat purchase

Tram 1 to

The Turkish fruit and veg shop – for fresh veg and herbs. - got some nice Brazilian figs too.
Then on to the butcher at 474 Overtoom; Keurslagerij Bastiaan Res‎ - which we had seen from the tram. Pulled a number from the machine – 687, we had no idea how that would be pronounced and tried our luck after 4 or 5 numbers were called – BINGO! We explained to one of the guys what we wanted. He went away and came back with a big rib eye of beef and some calf ribs – he said he knew what we were on about and proceeded to tie the ribs to the beef! He was really helpful – gave advice on cooking time etc. 1300g was E30! Ribs were free. Also got some beef/pork mince for a lasagne.
Image
Image
Image

Back to the apartment – Chill for a motivational Charas spliff :)

Tram to Westermarkt

Paradox – no 100% Sativa :(
Albert Heijn behind Dam sq – after buying so much food throughout the day but not eating any of it - this got a bit crazy. After what seemed like an age we were out!

Tram up to CS to book tickets for the last light festival boat tour of the day at 9.30pm
Image

Get the 1 back to the apartment.
Image

One the 1 again:

I wanted a Wok to Walk but was closed so went to Burger Bar – which hit the spot.
Image

Betty
1g Kiefin E15- repeat purchase
Image
Smoke upstairs – I put half the 0.5g in with a load of Kiefen – I slowly sank into the chair as I smoked it. The ice didn’t bubble when licked with a flame (the GSC ice that I had last trip bubbled like mad) – but all the Moroccans did. Weird. But the combo got me really stoned.
Image

Boat tour – didn’t get many pics – I was too high enjoying it! 75Mins went by really quickly, it was nice being taken close to all the art and not having to find it. We were the only non Dutch on the boat and were too high at the start we missed if they asked if anyone spoke other languages. I didn’t understand much but it was fun! I forgot how nice the canal boats can be – hadn’t been on one at night either.

Check out their Flickr for some nice images: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j& ... KFXLUJd8mg
Image
Found E20 in a puddle at CS!

Tram back to apartment to get my smoke on

Lemon meringue pie – YUM!
Image

Watched 'Prodigal son' Kung Fu film – amazing fight scenes, mixed with comedy – and the English dub adds another layer of comedy. A classic.
