you guys are complete morons complaining about the prices.
3.5 grams in the dam of the same quality stuff will run you $15 euros a gram.
52.5 euros, or $65. USD (at $1.25 exchange rate)
SAME DAMN PRICE YOU IDIOTS.
NO SHIT ...WHO COMPLAINED.?.....idiots,morons?....really uncalled for...
It's all overpriced fucknut...I pay it,why because I can in Adam....here ,a eighth is 30 bucks for top shelf....if ya know the people...so quick to insult...fucknut

Out of State stoners pay $69... wow, that's more than $19 per gram/$550 an ounce.
Most of the gear I buy in Amsterdam averages out to be 12 Euros per gram (taxes included), or $16.32 (today's rate is 1 Euro = $1.36)
An eighth (3.5 grams) will cost me 42 Euros/$57.12 at my favorite spots.
From the establishment mentioned in the linked article, I'm paying about 8 Euros/$11 less in Mokum even with the dollar being upside down.
It's all good though, more choices of places to smoke...
As for Amsterdam vs. Denver.... meh, both have their lovely and not so lovely bits...
...here's to finding the lovely ones........

Bleedin' ell. I thought you said lovely tits. I have seen Debbie's tits in Amsterdam. Yet to see Debbie does Denver.
However, it is all overpriced but $60 odd bucks for an eighth of top notch weed in Denver is comparable-ish to an eighth of top notch in the Dam. The difference is that if I walked into a bar in Denver and sparked up then it would be scary showers for a while. In the Dam I can spark up and have a chaser of Oude Jenever if I wish with no worries about picking up the soap in front of Billy Bob.
Given the choice I would like to see Denver but will almost always choose the old bird with the water for her slippers.

Sailor----a bit dramatic don't you think....they don't put you in jail for public smoking...it's a ticket....also people do it all the time......most people do not give any shit....there are plenty of places to smoke and there are more coming......scary showers?....

I don't believe $10 is an enormous cost to have access to several cannabis clubs in Denver and Colorado Springs offering free dabs, bong hits, and lots of other free goodies. As far as the high retail prices...we have been saying all along the cost would be high at first but even-out as hundreds more retail outlets open up and supply catches up with demand. Its only been a few weeks.

Been to both, it's like comparing apples and oranges. Two totally different places, though the edibles in Colorado have no comparison. Different cities, different cultures. Amsterdam is my love, but Colorado is quite beautiful and a real game changer for the US.

Either that or the dominoes will tumble and there will be change in the attitudes of the western world...encouaging the Netherlands to stop tweaking their laws.. Who knows.
Teaches us two things
- gotta live in the moment
- everything changes
